COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s a saison of sorts; hellaciously herbaceous and hopefully contagious. This was not a ready made ale. But it is a ready made collaboration. Meaning Stone and Victory are 2 breweries that are exactly like Dogfish in that they do/brew exactly what they love and they do/brew it exactly like no other brewery out there. (Love - lots of it in this bottle)

-Samuel A Calagione

Ale brewed with parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme.

Acetobacter's rating

3.7
Acetobacter (816) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2011
Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle in a wine glass. The beer pours a slightly hazy light orange color, with a large and quite thick white head. The nose shows characters reminiscent of a Belgian witbier, orange, slightly peppery spice, and a slight alcohol note. The palate shows assertive spicy/peppery notes up front, followed by some citrus, and a fairly noticeable alcohol character. The finish itself is dry and fairly crisp, leaving notes of herbal and peppery spice. Overall, a really nice interpretation of an enigmatic and elusive style; accomplishing a feat that very few American craft brewers are able to accomplish. Well done, indeed.

Tap at Stone Berlin. Pours slightly hazy golden with white head. Grassy and herbal aroma and taste with quite a bit of hops to it. Some pepper, cloves, and lemon present too. Nicely balanced hops. Perfect with the caesar salad.

4.1
ComradeK (1230) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - NOV 12, 2016
355ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium gold, with a moderate white head, which lasts well and leaves good lacing. Strong herbal aromas dominate, with parsley and thyme particularly noticeable, and light citrus notes in the background. Mild citrus hops and strong herbal bitterness up front bring in the parsley, with savoury sage and rosemary coming in to the mid-palate. A refreshing finish leaves a lingering sage aftertaste. An interesting, complex herbal flavoured beer, very refreshing on a hot afternoon.
