Dark brown color, good amount of carbonation. Aroma is slightly spicy and fruity. Taste is the same with a moderate dose of bitterness. Very easy drinking and unlike most Belgian style strong ales I've had.
Bottle picked up from John’s Market. I wasn’t expecting much, but they did a great job storing this one.
A: Copper color with a thin white head.
N: Oxidation, toffee, grapefruit, pine, some caramel, coriander, raisin, clove, and esters.
T: Sweet, lightly bitter, still spicy.
M: Medium body, no alcohol, soft carbonation.

Bottle thanks to Luke! Very cool. Pours a cloudy amber color with a medium white head. A spicy fruity nose. Certainly some oxidation, smooth, spicy, big sweet malty base. This is really good. Held up perfectly. Could drink lot. Hoprider (699) - DENMARK - MAY 1, 2016

22oz bomber, courtesy of a sweet trade with FlacoAlto, pours up with a clear brown body that supports a thin light tan head. The aroma is earthy and slightly oxidized and then brown sugar, molasses and oddness. The taste delivers soft molasses and brown sugar flowing into muted dates and prunes. It gets pretty earthy and oxidized here and there.

Had this sometime at the end of 2012, as part of a 03.03.03 - 12.12.12 tasting. I had meant to enter these a while ago while they were fresh and add a few extra details, but that didn’t happen. Review from notes. Anyway, here we go.
2.0 A: Muddy shit. Small head that falls almost instantly.
1.5 S: Smells like old homebrew and not homebrew that started out good. Rancid spicy caramel. Instead of alligator pepper, it smells like alligator hide.
2.0 T: Tastes better than it smells, but just barely. Rancid chocolate and caramel. Moldy old wheat. A bit of roast and a light, out of place, spice.
2.5 M: Heavier medium body. Sludgy mouthfeel. The only thing that impresses is that a decent amount of carbonation is still present.
1.5 D: Mostly ass beer at this point. Enough said.

From notes. Tasted on 12/12/12 from a capped 22oz bottle with Curtis, and the Nashville crew. Pours hazy amber with an average beige head that leaves thin, bubbly lace. The nose is pretty far gone, very oxidized, with a bit of a yeasty aroma. The flavor has some spice on the back, but is really just as oxidized as the nose. Opened a bottle on 1/1/2015. Still good carbonation in the pour. Cotton candy and spice aroma. Lots of oxidation but flavors are still decent. Not great but decent.
