Bottle at TradeBook featuring Mark 160817. Thanks Per! Cloudy beige/ brownish beer with a small head. Malty fruity aroma, yeasty, caramel notes, raisins, figs, herbal notes. Fruity caramel aroma, raisins, grapes, yeast notes, slightly spicy, figs, some citrus, hay notes. Quite nice! mcberko (17830) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 10, 2013
22 oz. bottle, sent from St Fun (thanks a lot, Josh), pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, perfume, some floral notes, and a bit of oxidation. Flavour brings out notes of perfume, citrus fruits, some floral notes, and light spices. Somewhere between a saison and a light Belgian strong ale. Past its prime for sure, but not too oxidized. Good stuff. TBone (17530) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 14, 2005

Pale hoppy yellow, small white head. Citrusy, apricot nose. Medium to full-bodied. Sweetish grassy, some licorice there too.
Bottle, 22oz. Pours a slightly hazy golden body under a nice dense head. Orangey hops dominates the aroma, with some herbal notes and a malty sweetish aroma to give some balance. Sweet and fruity in the mouth, with white sugar, some alcohol and caramel. Full-bodied, slightly warming. Sweet finish. A nice beer, but too strange to be real good. A: The pour is a burnt orange color with some hints of gold and a finger’s worth of white head.
S: The nose is quite sweet and surprisingly citrus heavy. A few more sniffs give off some vanilla, honey, and yeast esters (namely bananas).
T: A similar story on the palate. Sweet vanilla, orange honey, and banana along with some spicy esters and caramel malt. A touch of tropical fruit, too.
M: The body is on the light end of medium with a carbonation that seems to be a bit low too.
D: The low carbonation does not do much to quell the intense sweetness of this beer. Good flavors, but like drinking a sweet mead at times.

Bottle. Faint spicy aroma, not the pungent type, but very subtle, hint of fruit. Hazy golden colour. Very small bubbly white head. The flavour has some caramelly hop and malt notes. Hint of sweet, spicy fruit. Quite sweet, but attempted balanced by the faint fruit note. Seems a little alcoholic, but is not as flavourful as it could have been. 737317 bhensonb (15191) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 2, 2013
Tap at City Beer. Pours clear golden orange with a creamy white head. Aroma is lightly fruity. Maybe a touch of banana ester. Med body. Mild carb. Flavor is slightly woody/astringent with some Belgian yeast/spice and some lime/citrus. Hints of toffee. It’s very clean. There’s no heat. Finishes dry and something like a bitter wood - or maybe a lime leaf. It’s pretty tasty for over 8 years old, but I’m thinking it was kept chilled all that time. Bomber poured a clear amber with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of lime, wheat, yeast, spice and a hint of vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a sharp finish. Flavors of light oxidation, lime, light carmel and light spice with a smooth lingering citric finish.
