1 pt. 6 fl oz, thanks to Papsoe. Pours golden yellow, clear, with a white lacing head. Dried fruity and slight herbal/spiced. Flavour is heavy spiced, ginger. Some minor citrus fruity notes are present, but it all drowns in ginger. Finish is slight cloying. Not good. Well crafted, I just don’t like ginger. Bottled. Deep golden colour, not much head. Aroma is really spices, lots of clove, ginger, orange peels, cinnamon and some slight hoppyness. Flavour is really spicy, mainly same as in aroma. Wellbalanced, refreshing and pleasant. Long spicy aftertaste. Travlr (25496) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 7, 2010
Draught at Churchkey. Pretty decent ale with light spice and medium body, interesting, but not very complex. omhper (25349) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2007
Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear amber, average head. Aroma of coriander and winegum. Sweet and estery, very fruity. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel and evident crystal malt character. A fairly streamlined, highly spiced beer, typical American-Belgfian style. Lots of flavours, but not so much depth. Finishes slightly stick. A drinkable beer for it’s size, but it leaves me rather unimpressed. Perhaps I’m not worthy? cgarvieuk (25222) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 23, 2007
