Tap @ The BeerMongers for 12-12-12... Poured deep, ruby/reddish, quite cloudy with a moderate, khaki head. This was nice. Full mouthfeel, not totally drying or anything. Notes of tart, rip fruit with wood and a hint of yeast spice. Not totally funky, but certainly a tartness in there that was pleasant. Also some dark sugars and malt. Not too oxidized or anything. Showed its age quite nicely.

Hazy orange brown color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of toast, nuts, vanilla, toffee malts, grapes fruits, and light alcohol. Taste of caramel, dark fruits, vanilla, wood, light nuts, oxidation, and a semi-sweet finish. Big improvement over the standard 10.

On tap at brewery. Hazy light brown with a thin head. Oaky vanilla caramel and grassy vegetal aroma. Sweet sugary oak forward taste followed by vanilla and roasted coconut flavors, caramel, and a oaky dryness. Bright sticky medium bodied palate. Interesting.

Draft at Churchkey 12.12.12. Murky mahogany with small bubbly head. Nose and flavor marked with sweet vinous nectar fruit, bright melon, white plum, and light tart tannin character. Sweet to start but dry finish. Very good.
