Draft. Pours gold with a thin white head. Sweet malty aroma with some grapey sweetness. The has some estery sweetness, grapes, floral notes, and some hop bitterness. Decent. dcschiller (2211) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 19, 2010
(22oz bottle). Pours clear golden color with 1 finger head. Active carbonation and not much lacing. Aroma is honey (sweet wines), florals (chamomile). The more I smell the beer, the more I like it. Taste is not as sweet as I expected and has a little bite at the end. Light bodied with oily texture. Finish is very much like wine with slight bitterness and the alcohol making it’s prescence known. Interesting, but not great. obguthr (6826) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - OCT 20, 2010
Funky peach nose. Cloudy amber, floaties, headless. Very much like a tripel on the front, peach is dominant. White grape notes in the finish keep the sweetness at bay. Alcohol evident. One of the more balanced VEs. RCL (2032) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 22, 2010
Light straw aroma with an odd fruitiness – banana skins. Quite ester-y and a bit odd – on the sweeter side. May dry out nicely with some additional age. ucusty (2693) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - OCT 26, 2010
Thanks to OSCF for sharing! Another VE beer that tries to be memorable but isn’t. MEh

Tiny bubbles, bright yellow color. A little spicy smell. Quite sour, some herbal notes. Fairly light mouthfeel, a little dry. It’s a fine saison, nothing to win me completely over to the style, but worth trying. Sledutah (7976) - Utah, USA - NOV 4, 2010

Appearance: Crystal clear golden with a nice sized white head and some lacing
Aroma: Peppery, banana esters and spices
Taste: Sweet malts, spices and citrus
Ok, nothing special. Very sweet!
Bottle picked up at SL. Pours a yellow color, with a big frosy white head. Tart aroma, with some bready maltiness. Beer temperture was on the warmer side 55 degrees. Taste is intially tart, then a sweet candy sugar comes through on the tounge. Little to sweet for my taste, but not bad at all. Body is on the lighter side. Overall: I expect hoppy beers from stone and the rest of the CA brewers... so even though this isnt bad just a little let down. Wouldnt buy one again. biznizness (1128) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 24, 2010
Interesting character... one of my problems with these types of limited edition beers is that you really need to drink quite a bit of the beer to get your head totally around it... especially these complicated ones. And the limited edition makes that hard and expensive. So, the verdict is... good, but I want more. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - DEC 1, 2010
light yellow. Small white head. Strong beer aroma sweet and tart. Belgian yeast flavor with a long light sweet finish. Good beer.
