(Bottle 65 cl) Clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Very fresh grapefruity aroma. Medium body with very sweet caramel and some lightly medicinal notes. Bittersweet finish. A bit unusual. 011206 omhper (24970) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 16, 2007
Bottled, thanks cquiroga! Cloudy reddish amber. Vast aroma of grapefruity hops. Solidly malty with predominant cookie malt character covered in an abundance o fsalty graepfruity hops. Lingering really bitter finish. Pretty straight forward beer, not the most complex in the world, but quality all the way through. madmitch76 (24378) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2009
11th September 2008. Cloudy brown beer. Rich and full IPA. Initially comes accross as a well hopped barleywine but then bitter grapefruit and sweet marmalade give it that extra IPA dimension. harrisoni (18436) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2009
Bottle at Chris o New Year tasting 08/09. I think Phil l brought this, so thanks. Hazy cloudy amber colour, thin lasting beige head. Piney hop aroma. That’s a bit surprising. Perfumey. Not my favourite of the Stone beers. Very hoppy finish. I can see that it’s good, but it just didn’t do it for me. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 25, 2006
Hazy dark amber. Woody, oxidized hops in the nose. Big chewy flavour, herbal, minty hop notes. Caramel, lots of alcohol. Quite a bit of bitterness and residual sweetness. A big bag of intense.
