p1meatloaf (256) - Corvallis, Oregon, USA - NOV 14, 2011
In bomber from the brewery. Drank on 11/11/11. Looks amber caramel with tan head. Smells of thick dark caramel and earthy smoothness. Tastes of caramel but molded by the cinnamon and slight tinge of pepper on the back end that makes this beer drinkable and savory. I cant wait to taste it aged a year from now. Overall 7.5 of 10. Aroma of chilis, sugar, alcohol, spice. Pours well with beautiful head, red/brown reminiscent of Insanely Bad Elf. Unbalanced in flavor, with chilis, sharp vegetal hop flavor, Medium bodied, strong carbonation, and a bit of tropical note. Warming for sure, and needs a bit of time IMO. Tasted from the bottle @ 58F. gerbewa (253) - - AUG 11, 2012
This beer is different! I’m not sure what fruit they added but its not good. First taste was awful but after two or three more out was ok. Doing think I’ll try again NeuroPliny (247) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 19, 2013

Pours beautiful amber with white head. Neutral smell. Tastes like peppers, cinnamon, caramel, malt, and hops. A bit sticky on the finish, with a very bitter aftertaste.
Brewdork (234) - Sanford, Florida, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Pours reddish-brown with very thin head. Sweet malty aroma with pronounced chile notes. Flavor is all chiles up front, with a smooth malt finish with hints of chocolate. It certainly isn’t for everyone, but if you like the taste of chiles (no heat here, just flavor) this one’s a winner. BeerBoxer (232) - Sacramento, USA - JAN 24, 2012
pours a hazy amber with a light fizz. Aroma is smoky and earthy. Flavor is full of chilli and malt. aleph (231) - - APR 9, 2012
Bottle courtesy of Dale. Sweet, spicy, malty, pepper, cinnamon. Medium body. Low drinkability due to the odd flavor profile. Misstep. emeinz (224) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 24, 2011
