3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2 finger head with lots of lace. Aroma of pineapple and a gym locker. Medium mouth. Taste has some flowery notes but the green tea really dominates anything that is in there. Interesting beer with the green tea action.
Gold pour, white head. Aroma and flavor of gunpowder green tea with notes of citrus and fruit. Medium body, long lasting flavor. slowrunner77 (12824) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 24, 2014
"An addition to the AV ale that added a layer of complexity and tastiness. I dug the green tea aspect, but it also covered up the lemon in the beer, which was already a little more hidden than I’d been hoping for. Good complex fresh iipa, though :)"

Pours a nice golden/light amber color with a white head that is not long lasting! Fruity smell and taste powers over hops; nice and refreshing. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 24, 2013
(Draught) Pours a cloudy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, orange, grapefruit, tea leaves, and caramel. Flavor of lemon, lime, grain, herbal, tea leaves, and caramel with a bitter finish. HoppyBrewnette (16) - - MAY 17, 2013
Intense green tea taste... I'd say a little over steeped. Sweet pepper aroma. Anise profile.

Tap at Petrol Station Houston. Cloudy bright gold. Mild nose. Taste is nice floral bitter hops with the tea adding an extra layer of flavor. Strong alcohol presence. Nice. jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Draft at Tampa Palms WOB. Pours a slightly hazy copper amber color. Small white head, but good sudsy webbed lacing along the glass. Aroma has nice herbal notes along with the pine and citrus hops. Flavor is interesting as the tea comes through more in the aftertaste. ericdevin (988) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Draft at 16 Tons Taphouse. Pours an opaque golden orange, little to no head. Aroma is strangely reminiscient of a bottle of Lipton’s Iced Tea, verbenna, tea nd not all that much in the way of hops. Body is very rich and almost treacly. Finish is bitter at first on the resinous side of things, and then opens up, becoming increasingly sweet, warming making itself known. LOVE the addition of tea, this is a big improvement over the OG 16th, which wasn’t bad but also wasn’t of the quality I am used to from Stone. bwa5879 (959) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - FEB 28, 2013
On tap at Kalamazoo Beer Exchange
Aroma: minty like toothpaste, in a good way. Some orange citrus and lemongrass, some pineapple too, not too strong.
Appearance: Super cloudy light caramel brown. White head about an eighth inch high.
Taste: Slightly tingly in mouthfeel, full bodied for sure. Piney citrus flavor at first, some heat, then stronger tea flavor.
Finish: Bitter, slightly dry. Tea flavor is left over, coriander flavor is present as well. A little heat too.
Overall: Unique IPA. I prefer the original but this is certainly worth a whirl. JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Draft at stone bistro. Golden orange pour with a slight haze and a white head. Citrus, caramel malt, sweetness, tea, and hop bitterness. Ok.
