Draft at the Jerry’s Stone Event. Murky orange with good, creamy, white head / Muted nose of citrus, pine, and green tea / Full body, creamy and lush, sweet with some chewy sugars, excellent balance and bitter finish lurking underneath / Rich flavors of orange, caramel, green tea, cut pine, and grapefruit / Very successful. ericdevin (988) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Draft at 16 Tons Taphouse. Pours an opaque golden orange, little to no head. Aroma is strangely reminiscient of a bottle of Lipton’s Iced Tea, verbenna, tea nd not all that much in the way of hops. Body is very rich and almost treacly. Finish is bitter at first on the resinous side of things, and then opens up, becoming increasingly sweet, warming making itself known. LOVE the addition of tea, this is a big improvement over the OG 16th, which wasn’t bad but also wasn’t of the quality I am used to from Stone. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - DEC 31, 2012
On tap at brewery. Clear golden orange with a fizzy white head. Aroma of orange, lemon, honey, caramel, and tea. Silky full bodied palate. Tastes of orange, caramel, grape, dominant green tea, and honey with an earthy bitter finish. Sathorael (159) - Oceanside, California, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Poured from 24hr old growler fill. Pours a slightly hazed electric orange color with decent head and lacing. Lemon peel is very prominent along with aromas of pine, grapefruit, and a little earthy tea. Taste is bright and almost tangy with a good citrus pop. A good amount of hop bitterness and pine with a subtle hint of green tea leaves. Finish is balanced with a mild sweetness and hop bitterness. Leaves a pleasant citric astringency on the gums. slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 24, 2014
"An addition to the AV ale that added a layer of complexity and tastiness. I dug the green tea aspect, but it also covered up the lemon in the beer, which was already a little more hidden than I’d been hoping for. Good complex fresh iipa, though :)"

Tasted before i smelled and was surprised by the fresh orange, some piney bitterness, a jalapeno burn & alcohol. aroma delivered orange, alcohol & coaramel, the color--orange of course, hazy, minimal head on tap at Roscoe. smooth in the mouth, quickly warming, jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Draft at Tampa Palms WOB. Pours a slightly hazy copper amber color. Small white head, but good sudsy webbed lacing along the glass. Aroma has nice herbal notes along with the pine and citrus hops. Flavor is interesting as the tea comes through more in the aftertaste. bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - APR 20, 2013
Tap at Petrol Station Houston. Cloudy bright gold. Mild nose. Taste is nice floral bitter hops with the tea adding an extra layer of flavor. Strong alcohol presence. Nice. peteinSD (1469) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 5, 2012
Growler fill. Pours a hazy golden color with a nice froth of off-white foam. Aroma is heavy sweet malt with bitterness hops and pine. Taste is smooth, bready malt with rye and a fair amount of sweetness, pine, lingering hop bitterness, and a smooth and light herbal flavor. I cannot smell or taste green tea in this beer. The lemon and citrus from the original 16th anniversary are no longer present and it’s basically a smooth, malt heavy strong ale type beer with hop bitterness. Smooth, even mouthfeel. dnstone (3418) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Hazed golden in color with soft white head. Starts hoppy then becomes herbal with a defined green tea taste. Light hop aroma with those same green tea notes.
