On tap at Kalamazoo Beer Exchange
Aroma: minty like toothpaste, in a good way. Some orange citrus and lemongrass, some pineapple too, not too strong.
Appearance: Super cloudy light caramel brown. White head about an eighth inch high.
Taste: Slightly tingly in mouthfeel, full bodied for sure. Piney citrus flavor at first, some heat, then stronger tea flavor.
Finish: Bitter, slightly dry. Tea flavor is left over, coriander flavor is present as well. A little heat too.
Overall: Unique IPA. I prefer the original but this is certainly worth a whirl. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 24, 2013
(Draught) Pours a cloudy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, orange, grapefruit, tea leaves, and caramel. Flavor of lemon, lime, grain, herbal, tea leaves, and caramel with a bitter finish. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 9, 2012
On tap at The Lackman. Served in a snifter, the first pour from the keg. Moving the keg seemed to have disturbed the yeast quite a bit, my pour was a completely cloudy faded orange / tan color. Good off white head. Leaves decent lace. Zesty, lemony citrus (grapefruit, some lemongrass) hop aroma. Very herbal with the green tea, it’s an interesting flavor. Nice bitter, zesty taste. Big, thicker body. Almost kind of creamy. Light smooth carbonation. Interesting, tasty beer to savor. It’s a green tea IPA... Makes me think of Terrapin’s Samurai Krunkles, which I thought was much more well put-together, with it’s lighter body, refreshing quality, and even bigger green tea flavor. Still a fine, hearty, and interesting brew though williamstome (1875) - Somerville, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 17, 2015

2 finger head with lots of lace. Aroma of pineapple and a gym locker. Medium mouth. Taste has some flowery notes but the green tea really dominates anything that is in there. Interesting beer with the green tea action. JohnnyJ (5562) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Draft at stone bistro. Golden orange pour with a slight haze and a white head. Citrus, caramel malt, sweetness, tea, and hop bitterness. Ok. brokensail (16444) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 29, 2012
The beer is a hazy amber color with an off-white head. Starts off with a similar candied lemon peel aroma the regular version has. A sweet sugar and toffee note, lots of herbs, and a slight tea quality. Quite woody and herbal. The flavor is sweet and sugary as well as being overly herbal. Quite a bit of tea and candied lemon notes. A bit of alcohol, some bitterness on the finish, and very light rye. As with the regular version, I am not a fan. llbjr77 (89) - Largo, Florida, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Pours a nice golden/light amber color with a white head that is not long lasting! Fruity smell and taste powers over hops; nice and refreshing. HoppyBrewnette (16) - - MAY 17, 2013
Intense green tea taste... I'd say a little over steeped. Sweet pepper aroma. Anise profile.
