Let my bomber of 16th Anniversary cellar for four months. Hazy full bodied amber beer with lemon/citrus aroma. At first the tartness dominated, but after I paired with a Pepper Jack cheese a balance between both flavors were in harmony. I liked this beer from Stone, hell, it’s hard for me not to like an offering from Stone. Unique, zigs where other beers zag.
Orange amber pour with aroma of lemon, bread, and spice. Tropical fruit flavor with some lemon, spice, bread, and hint of hop bite. Very nice. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 19, 2016
Pours a deep dark orangish amber color. Aromas of big hop action, sweet malts, and more hops. Flavor has some bready malty tastes with nice grapefruit and floral hop taste. tysongillmore (362) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - NOV 21, 2015

Backlog from lost & found notes: Aroma is sweet and hoppy. Marmelade, citrus zest. Taste is sweet and biscuity but with a very sticky citrus oil sensation. A little taste bud cringing going on here. Grapefruit juice and bitter orange. A slightly unpolished brew, but very good. GreatDane1632 (1169) - North Dakota, USA - AUG 16, 2015

Little head with a yellow body. Decent aroma. Fresh hop. Upfront bitter bite. Clean and light. slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2014
"Another beer, another hit. The lemon comes out nicely, but subtly, in both flavor and aroma. The citrus hops compliment that, and of course, a little sweetness and a good dose of bitterness. Looking forward to a couple more of these. 9/12 - definitively more perfumey lemon in both the aroma and flavor out of the bottle, for better or worse. I think the trade off cancels itself out, but definitely a different beer on tap. Lightrider (344) - Bristol, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 10, 2014

Served on tap in a 10 oz snifter glass
Appearance – Served an orange colored brew with a two finger off white head. The head was rather thin with it maintaining its composure for only a short time before fading to give a light level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of some sweeter fruit smells of tropical fruits as well as a strong presence of some grapefruit and sweeter tangerine hop. Along with the citrus hop is a nice presence of a light pine and light floral hop aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready flavor with some caramel and light fruit sweetness. There is a lighter citrus grapefruit hop flavor up front. While it is light initially the citrus get quite strong as the taste advances, bittering it quite a bit. More toward the end a pine taste enters the taste. This is accompanied by some caramel flavors which also come to the tongue more toward the end. These flavors all mingle quite well to give a pleasant hopped taste on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer was on the slightly above average side with a carbonation level that was a bit below average. Both were quite nice for the hop flavors and bready flavors of the beer as they allowed all the hop tastes to soak into the tongue.
Overall – A rather tasty brew. Decently balanced for a stronger IPA. Well worth a try.
