Bomber from Country Club Liquors. Nose is light pine resin, floral, and some sweet caramel malts. Hazy urine yellow with a medium, heavy lacing, pale yellow head. Flavor is only lightly bitter, hints of fruitiness, and a hint of alcohol warmth. Finishes with light bitterness. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - FEB 14, 2014
Hazed yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is resiny hops and sweet malt. Sweet malty start with a nice bitter finish. Smooth carbonation and medium body. nice beer borre_m (1733) - NORWAY - FEB 14, 2014
The aroma is of German hops, and more modern hops with aroma such as citrus and pine. There is also a slight malty sweetness in the aroma and you can also notice the 9.5 % ABV. This beer is a venture into the German malts and hops by Stone and I felt it was very successful.
Color is golden, slightly cloudy. When tasting you notice the hop bitterness. The beers I have tried by Stone have showed me that they are not shy of using hops, and this is no exception. Ther eis lots of hops, but it is still a balance there with maltiness and alcohol.
The mouthfeel is crisp, the body is medium and the foam holds up well. blankboy (7884) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 6, 2014
[My bottle (660ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jercraigs & mabel] Pours a hazy golden-orange with a small semi-lasting frothy white head. Aroma is pretty much all hops, resiny, floral and grassy along with a bit of fruit and alcohol. Flavour: Wow, this is a big beer, hoppy and boozy. Big bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. An interesting beer with different hops, I thought it was quite good. thebsmitty (138) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 6, 2014
Draft. Pours golden yellow with small white head. Smell is very floral, earthy hops, orange peel. Taste follows with almost a old grapefruit notes, grassy, lemon notes. Tasty!

January 31, 2014 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel. 22oz bottle c/o blankboy. Hazy gold, average off-white head. Floral and heathery bitter aroma, some alcohol - odd fruity light aroma - what’s the hop? German? Okay. Taste follows - grassy, fruity, pretty dry, emerging grapefruity pith. Average body, a bit astringent, decent carbonation, and a medium-long dry pithy bitter finish and linger. Different - really good. Bulk_Carrier (6064) - Vermont, USA - JAN 26, 2014
Reviewed from notes. Consumed 10/07/13.
The appearance has a hazy golden orange colored body, one finger white foamy head, leaves some fairly thick lacing.
The smell has a large amount of grapefruit, a fair amount of grassy resinous hops.
The taste maintains a citrusy sweetness throughout the beer, grapefruit aftertaste, sticky sweet finish.
The palate is about a light to medium, fairly sessionable, carbonation is good for the style and for me, actually this is very smooth but I’m thinkin’ that’s due to the fact I’m having this closer to expiration (10/31/13)
Overall, this is a pretty good DIPA that I would have again. BelvidereIPA (140) - Belvidere, Illinois, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Pours a hazy orange/yellow with soapy, filmy head. Hop profile is interesting, spicy and very dry and bitter. Not your usual stone IPA, but I’m impressed. Not just a west coast hop brewer. jeremytoni (3085) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JAN 22, 2014
From a bottle poured a straw color with a fair amount of head. Light malty hoppy flavor with a quick finish. beerfest5 (1207) - Cloneen, IRELAND - JAN 21, 2014
Germany isn’t known for their really tasty hop varieties, mostly made for bittering agent, and this shows that. Not what hopheads that expect a typical West Coast big DIPA are looking for.
