Pale gold color with low carbonation, small white head, and a little lacing. Aroma has huge grapefruit and pine. Flavor is all piney, with some orange citrusy fruit notes. So much grapefruit and pine- very resinous, sticky, and crazy hoppy. I don’t believe this destroys any of my previous notions of what an IPA is, though. Good overall- but I’d prefer Ruin10 or Enjoy By at the moment. dwmiller16 (113) - Delaware, USA - AUG 18, 2013
22oz bottle. Pours pale gold in color. Buttery hop aroma. Very unique hop aroma, spicy and bitter. Well done.

Gotterdammerung pouts a hazy apricot amber with a firm head of small off white bubbles. Nose is resin, rasins and maybe a hint of grapefruit citrus. Taste is intially dry with the hops being less strong than the nose would indicate. Subsequent sips indicate that the Hops are mild for a stone product but just as tasty as one would expect. A very smooth body. and a nice finish. a nice IPA. SSSteve (4006) - - AUG 18, 2013
bottle. slightly hazy pale gold with a stable, fluffy, white head. a blend of citrus, pear, and tropical hop aromas. surprisingly not floral as would be expected from noble type hops. the flavor is soapy and intensely bitter, almost harsh. lemony, citrus rind with pith. the pilsner malt doesn’t seem to provide enough residual sweetness to balance a numbing hop addition. lightish body and dry. extreme palate crushing astringency from alcohol and hop bitterness. not really my thing i suppose. Bomber->SA. Light orange/gold with huge frothy white head. A: strong bright hops - citrus and pine; sweet malt. T: bitter pine hops, resin. Very bitter and xerostomic. Expected better.

this beer is all about the hops and I like these German varieties - they work extremely well. pours a brilliant golden with a big frothy white head. big citrus, pine and floral notes across the nose. med body with a nice bitterness accompanied by more citrus hop flavors. big bitterness, big flavor and big aroma. reminds me of Enjoy By a bit with a different twist on the hops. excellent! ketchepillar (1208) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Oniony aroma. Grapy. Flavor has more onion. And seems New Zealandy more than German, but I can see some German character as well. Other than that, it's a Stone DIPA.

Bottle at Brewdown. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of yeast, citrus bread, pine and toasted malt. Medium body. thegreenrooster (4626) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Pour is a clear blonde with a large white head. Aroma is a spicy hop with a lot of pine. Flavor is a nice hop with some sweetness followed by a big bitterness. I don’t really get any pils malt or noble hops, it’s just a pretty much in your face sweet hop bomb. Drinks more like a 5% IPA then the 9.5% so this could be a black out beer. wnoble (1251) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Pours gold. Head is frothy white. Nose is complex sweet citrus, sticky sweet malts, floral and citrus. Flavor is muted floral and light citrus, intense bitterness like you would suspect with stone. pretty good but very different.
