22oz bottle. Pours bright melon orange with wispy white head. Big white bubbles mixed with tight little bubbles. Aroma is mostly hops leaning toward resiny. Grassy and piney, citrus hops. Chewy body and dry finish. Easy to drink and no real alcohol heat. ljstephenson (250) - Enterprise, Alabama, USA - DEC 16, 2013
Hazy bright orange pour with a frothy white head, good lacing. Aroma is pine and lemon. Flavor is strong grapefruit, pine and large hops, most notably Magnum hops. Finish is soft, only slight alcohol presence and moderate bitterness. Excellent double. OPIE788 (337) - Ohio, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Draft. Hazy straw yellow with a white head. Sweet fruits and citrus hops in the nose. Pine, lemon rind and some floral hop bitterness. Works well. Claves77 (260) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 13, 2013
Nice consistency, but pale color belies the body. Mild smell for Stone with different hop smell. Great mouthfeel with lasting palate, but flavor doesn’t suit me. better than most, but no comparison to other Stone brews. Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 12, 2013
Honey and starch, pissy citrus hops aromas. Cloudy yellow color. This beer has a rather straightforward bitterness across the board, although the finish is a softer mellow malt. As such I didn’t find it nearly as astringent as many of Stone’s other big ales. There isn’t any lasting ill effects on the palate...the stomach however...If you are looking for a high toned but light bodied and balanced IPA, this is a fine one.

Bottle from Belmont Station. Pours a beautiful gold with white foam. Smells crisp, sweet, spicy and slightly citrusy. Surprisingly full bodied. Tastes sweet, lemony, piney and more balanced than I’d expect from Stone. pumpmaster (1393) - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA - DEC 8, 2013
22 ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine Pembroke Pines, FL for $5.99 Very good! BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - DEC 8, 2013

On tap at Hops & Pies last August. Listed at 8.8%. Pours an amber with moderate head and lace. Aroma of straw hops and moderate malts. Significant carbonation and big mouthfeel. Flavors of bitter roots, tropical fruit rind, floral hops, chalk, dandelion, white grapefruit rind. Overall different and a bit challenging. cfrancis (3450) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 3, 2013
Pours cloudy gold with a moderate white pillow head. Aroma is citrus hops and light cereal malt. Taste is big citrus hop bitterness. So uncommon for german hops but I would expect nothing less from Stone.
