Pours a honey amber color, very clean taste, great mouth feel, and a smooth finish. Very solid anniversary effort by Stone.

Appearance: Bright copper. Hazy. Two fingers of off white foam.
Nose: Medium sweet with tropical fruit, a touch of pine and definite pineapple.
Taste: Hoppy with restrained sweetness. Good bitter throughout. Mango, pineapple and pine
Body: medium to lighter. Fluid. Smooth. Light carbonation
Parting thoughts: I don’t get the reference, but I appreciate Stone, Anniversary Brews, and IIPAs, so. win.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2018 Bomber - it pours a semi clear golden orange with a med fluffy off white head. Quite a nice aroma of sweet orange, caramel, floral and bitter citrus. Tasty and layered with notes of citrus, pine, caramel malts and a hint of booziness. George999 (486) - Colorado, USA - JAN 13, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2018 From bomber, the pour is hazy and burnt orange in color with a thin white head. The aroma is citrus, almost orangesicle in aroma, with a strong hop presence in the background. The taste is green tea, slightly sweet, malty, with a good balance of hops. The finish is like green tea ice cream (slight sweetness but a nice balance out bitterness), with a medium to thick mouthfeel. Overall this is not as hoppy but a beautiful IPA, I would buy this again. madmitch76 (26850) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2018

Hazy gold - amber beer, good cream colour head. Smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts bring a light creamy sweetness. Good cooling pine dominates. A mild hot spice. Marmalade and orange peel. A touch of vodka alcohol. More hop spice. Bitterish hop skunk leads to a bitter finish. Piney linger. Big strong double IPA.
Bottle. Pours golden orange with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, caramel and pine. Flavor of pale malts, caramel, citrus, pine, dank, and light tropical fruit. Dogbrick (14391) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 27, 2017
Sample at Craft Beer OGs 01 on 11/11/2017. Hazy orange color with a medium bone white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of citrus, floral hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of piney hops, citrus and earthy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a resiny hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall. BeerRenter76 (1061) - Texas, USA - DEC 22, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 22, 2017 Aromas of sweet caramel malts, pencil eraser, and pine. Unfortunately the flavor is similar to the aroma with the alcohol putting a strange spin on the flavor. I’m a big fan of Stone Brewing, but I don’t care for this one.

Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Pour is hazed ginger brown and it has a two finger creamy head. Very heavy lacing! Aroma of pineapples and a good balance with malts. Flavor matches that. Caramel and pale malts add a lot of sweetness. Pineapple leads. Alcohol is definitely noted but is not obtrusive. Mango and a little pine late (must be a lot for me to be able to taste any!). This is quite good and even unique in some ways. Well done. hayduke (5750) - Eureka, California, USA - DEC 20, 2017
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Dave and I have had SO many beers together this way. Pours orange gold or ice tea copper with a creamy white head and heavy lacing. The nose is citrus and pine, along with tropical fruit with pineapple. Medium plus body. The flavor is dank for starters. I get tropical fruit, with mostly pineapple, some melon, some citrus, and a lot of pine. Finishes dry and bitter. Excellent ale.
