COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Released September 2000 - both bottles and kegs. Brewed to celebrate the 4th Anniversary of the Stone Brewing Co. Identical recipe of the always-available Stone IPA, but with 3+ times the hops (we couldn't actually put four times the hops in and still get beer back out...). 100+ IBU's (International Bitterness Units). The human palate can taste up to the 75-90 IBU range.

This Stone IPA is quite hoppy and has a yellow color it is has more hops flavor than the third and is quite strong. For people who like hops this is a very good beer to drink.

I had wanted to try this for a while since Stone Brewery is regarded as one of the best breweries in the world. I wasnt dissapointed at all. Fruity with a moderately bitter finsih...love it.

Super old-school bitter beer. Probably pushing what this formula should do. Very nice, very bitter, very big. Enjoy if you can find it!
