22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/17/2016. Pours crystal clear deep orange/light copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while, Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding DIPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. Very similar to Stone IPA as expected; but a bit more sweet/malty and fuller bodied. Still has the same sticky/resin dryness and drinkability of the regular beer, at the higher ABV. A highly enjoyable offering. dinkle50 (1477) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 17, 2016
Clear golden pour with a thin, single finger head, lace present. Aroma of flowery hops, mostly pine and grapefruit. Full bodied. Taste is grapefruit and pine with a bitter finish. Hints of two row malt and a bit of caramel. Lingering grapefruit bitterness. A lot like Stone IPA, but way hoppier. Great beer. kyzr (1548) - Montana, USA - OCT 16, 2016
Copper pour with nice sized white head. Good nose of citrus, with a flavor to match. Nice balance of malt that coats with caramel. Nice bitter ending. zoucrew102 (1880) - - OCT 16, 2016
Bomber. Grapefruit citrus hop aroma with notes of dank pine resiny hops. Pours amber colored with a large, soapy off white head that has excellent retention and a little bit of lacing. Starts with grapefruit hop citrus and acidity before dank resiny hops begin to take over. Finishes very dry and very bitter with astringent piney hop resin bitterness that lingers on the palate long after each sip. Not one of stone’s best IPAs. rick_91709 (459) - USA - OCT 15, 2016
Poured from a bottle. Orange-gold. Very cloudy. Very little head. Not much aroma. Very bitter taste. Pine and grapefruit. Not Stone's best IPA.

Pours a finger of head on a hazy straw body. Aroma is pine resin, lemon and a bit of honey. Taste is super pine and grapefruit bitterness front beginning to end. Texture is crisp. beertholomeus (1813) - California, USA - OCT 12, 2016
Pours a golden amber color with a white head. Citrus, floral, pine, dank hop and biscuit aroma. Mango, grapefruit, papaya, pine, floral, caramel, dank hop and biscuit flavors. Medium body and carbonation with a citrus, hop and pine finish. Very nice, better than the regular IPA and Ruination. beerplace (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 11, 2016
On tap at Elizabeth Station on Stone 20th Anniversary event. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is resin, peniey hops, some slight veggie notes. Taste is pretty the same with medium sweetness and piney bitterness levels. Good one. TattooJack (518) - Illinois, USA - OCT 11, 2016
Poured from the bottle of the 20th anniversary 4 pack pours clear orange, nice head and lacing. Sticky hops, citrus, strong, and easy drinking. I don’t even know what I was drinking in 2001 (I think Ice House), or what I thought was good (Also Ice House probably) but I would have been blown away by this. Happy Anniversary.
