Draft at the Bistro. Pours a semi-hazy dark orange color, with a small off white head. Smells pretty malty, with some sweet dark fruits in the background. The flavor was also quite sweet, with good doses of cinnamon spice making an appearance. Some hops and candy sugar were noticeable as well. Pretty decent for its age still. Not mind blowing, but not too bad. carl4beer (522) - Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA - AUG 6, 2008
Draft at stone. pours deep gold with small head. aroma of caramel and malt with a little citrus. taste has some hop up front with caramel and malt that follows. finish lingers a bit bitter. illidurit (2356) - San Francisco, California, USA - AUG 6, 2008
On tap at Stone Bistro for RBSG 08. Gold-amber color with a small white head. Aromas of oxidized hops, overripe apple, and caramel. Light caramel flavor with a lingering tannic finish as the once-prominent hops struggle against age. Sticky/dirty palate. gunhaver (1030) - Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 6, 2008

On tap at Stone. Pours a dark caramel red color, with a fizzy white head and minimal lacing. Sweet caramel malt nose, tea, and slight oxidation. Not too bad though. Flavor is pretty much caramel and some very slight citrus, with some remnants of hops. Soft body, medium sized. Sticks to mouth, and has a slightly bitter finish. Obviously would’ve been better fresh.
On tap at Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens. Pours cloudy amber orange with no real head. Sweet aroma of hops and citrus. Flavor is spicy and citrusy with a nice under-layer of hops and alcohol. A good beer, but nothing that memorable.

RBSG on tap. Light amber color with not a lot of aroma. Has a lively, fun flavor; fruity and crisp. DietPepsican (1589) - @ $13.99, Iowa, USA - JUL 7, 2008
I figured this beer would be dead, luckily I was wrong. Orange pour with a small head. Ligh hop, caramel, and candied sugar aroma. Flavor was similar with some orange hops and other fruity citrus. Finishes slightly watery with medium carbonation. badbeer (434) - Iowa, USA - JUL 5, 2008
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2009 Peach colored with an off-white head, little retention and lacing. Smell is of apricots, peaches, flowers, and biscuits. Taste is of peaches, apricots, tangerine, orange rind, and some sweet malt. Medium carbonation and lighter than medium body. This beer has held up much better than I imagined it would. Would love to try it again. drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 27, 2008
22oz bottle shared at DLD 08 by bbb63. thanks mike! pours amber with white head. nose and the flavor is a bit oxidized and the hops have really faded but they are still hanging on and its not bad at all. glad i got to try this. hopslovin (194) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 2, 2008
Bomber shared with Enzofan. Cloudy golden/orange pour with diminishing off-white head. Big malt aroma, no hop presence. No suprise due to age of beer. Sweet malt flavors. Medium syrupy mouthfeel. This was a good beer, but I’m sure it was fantastic fresh in it’s day. Enjoyable none the less.
