Bottle Shared By EDA, thank you Mike. Pours a honey orange body with a thin white head. Oxidation, tobacco, paper and moth. Plumy with a hint of fruit esters. heykevin (1281) - Decorah, Iowa, USA - NOV 21, 2003
Surprisingly light hop aroma. Some resiny notes but also some bready and cookie sweetness. This seems fairly sweet and "fat" maltiness compared to say, the ruiniation. Hop flavor is rather clumsy and clamorous. Tastes like too many different hop varieties to me. footbalm (1219) - Western Minneapolis Suburbs, Minnesota, USA - JAN 28, 2006
Nose is heavy on the caramel with a sweet sweet syrupy maltiness thing going on.Kind of reminds me of something with fresh peaches. Tastes very different, still good but not as complex as I was hoping for.Still some caramel but little else. clvand0 (350) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - AUG 26, 2003
This beer poured a red color with a little orange in it. The head was small and thin with a tiny bit of lacing on the glass. The aroma was a little fruity (citrus mainly) and reminded me of pine needles. The flavor was fairly strong. I tasted some citrus, something "green", and some caramel malts. This is a little different from the normal IPA's that you might try and it is very interesting. Not my style, but I have to admit that it is a well made beer.

Pours a three-fingered off-white head, fades slowly and leaves a good lace. Almost clear amber color. Nose is hoppy with hints of alcohol. Starts with a hop-bitterness, and finishes with a lingering hoppiness - more than I expected with the high ABV. Light carbonation and medium - full bodied. $5.99 for a 22oz bottle.

This is a strange brew. No head. Chestnut bworn. Apricot aroma. Flavour is dominated by apricots and peaches. Quite malty and sweet finish. malrubius (2900) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - JUN 2, 2009
Bottle at RnH Drink for Charity. Thanks to everyone who brought great beer to this. Cloudy orange with head. Fruity syrupy aroma. Very sweet orangy flavor. NIce bosy and carbo. JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 29, 2009
Bottle shared by eyedrinkale at "Drink for Charity" event at Rattle N Hum. Deep amber beer with a lot of chewy sweetness. Some sweet fruitiness and some heavy, almost clunky malty sweetness. More stickiness on the back. Still isn’t all that good. hellomynameis (876) - Mayer, Minnesota, USA - AUG 21, 2009
Lots of malt in here, some hops still showing through. Has a bit of alcohol showing through. Certianly past its prime but cool to try none-the-less.
