On tap at Hunah Day. Pours a clear copper orange with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, spice, bourbon, oak. Medium body, yeast, oak, spice, bourbon, good. mcberko (19837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 2, 2016
On tap at McKay’s Taphouse, pours a clear bronze with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of bourbon notes upfront, followed by Belgian yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with a surprising cohesiveness between the Belgian yeast and bourbon barrels. Really well done. Ferris (17098) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 30, 2016
Draft - Lots of woody notes and some soured malts. Clear gold with a nice white head. Tons of Woody notes and a touch of sourness. Sourness isn’t really sour but not sure how to describe it. Very Woody. deyholla (12588) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 15, 2015
Sampled from the tap at El Bait Shop. Pours a clear amber orange with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of light fruits with some grain, a bit of oak and a light bourbon note. Flavor has light fruits and grass up front with grains in the finish as well as a dry oak finish. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - SEP 1, 2015
This beer is rose in color and maintains a big, dense, white head. It smells very sour. The palate is soft and tastes like vanilla, cream, red wine, and plums. If I didn’t know any better I’d think it was a sour aged in French wine barrels. Either way, it’s awesome! I love BPAs and sours and this one has both characterstics. I suppose it’s plausible that the vanilla comes from the whiskey barrel... just thinking.

Draft at the Lackman from notes. Pours a slightly hazy dark orange color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, caramel, bourbon, vanilla, wood, some mild yeasty/bretty funk, I agree with others that the aroma was better than the flavor with this one, I am glad to have had a shot at this. b33r (881) - Ohio, USA - MAY 28, 2015
Hazy gold color with no head and minimal lacing. Aroma and flavor have string yeastiness and light butter hops, great strong balanced bourbon notes, an a slight alcohol presence. Very good overall Bule (2310) - California, USA - APR 16, 2015
On tap at Taps. Pours a reddy brown color with a bit of head. Sharp aroma of spirits. Sharp on the barrel and spirity flavor too. Hath alcohol. Struggling to drink this.

(draft @ Avenue Pub - New Orleans, LA) Cloudy orange with a thick white head. Mild bourbon in the aroma. Predominantly Belgian yeast and some light spice and hops. Flavor is very solid though. Lots of good pale ale and spicy yeast notes with a definite underpinning of the barrel. arminjewell (9727) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 30, 2015
Pour on tap at Northern Lights Rare Beer Fest, hazy orange-red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of oak, lemon, some biscuit into a bit of vanilla, hints of orange peel into a bit of spice. Taste was a mix of orange, lemon into some oak, vanilla, touch of chemical into a bit of biscuit, finishing slightly bitter. Ok.
