Cellared bottle from Beer:30. Merry Christmas to me! Big dark Amber body some mahogany tones very small skin of fine head. Aroma is woody and malty, some of the booze coming through, a little bit of the maple syrup. Taste is more of the same, comes on quite strong, a little bit boozy, sweet and makty but a really nice blend. A year and a half worth of cellaring seems to have done this beer pretty well. Bottle @Christmas Tasting 30.07.2017. Pours brown/red, almost no head. Nose is fruity, raisins, fruit cake, dates and figs, slight chocolate, wonderful nose. Taste is chocolate and baked fruit cake, they is a burnt taste at the back that just stops this from getting 4 or more.

500 ml bottle at the DC Ratebeer Tasting. Poured a hazy, kind of light cola brown color with a small light tan head. Aroma was some boozy dark fruits, caramel malts. Light sweet syrup notes. Alcohol is mostly smooth, with very little boozy burning notes that I expected.
