33cl canned SEP17 from Geers cheaper than in their home market...faut le faire. Airlifting the US kettle sour to its home terroir, US-dryhopped with new DE-Hüll Melon and DE-Callista: a bold move only brash Stone could venture. Fazit: an easy hop-streamlined cocktail of "crushability", AT-Latella-Fruchtmolke, gently-carbed Schweppes Indian tonic. Notes of Pfirischmolke, canned gooseberry, starfruit, green pineapple juice, yoghurt, tangerine, sweet lemon pickle brine. Does most of that in flavour with a postmodern hop fruitiness and aluminium bitters that build to upstage the kettlesour surface. Impressed with these new DE aroma hops. Avoids the kettle sour enamel-stripping introduced by Westbrook Gose, - maybe that is Stone Berlin's concession to their EU audience. - - Lots of elements to be critical of in the /ideological superstructure/ of this brew, but as a fan of Fruchtmolke, new DE hops and sub-5% crushers, I can't really argue with how easy this goes down. Can from Gulating. Unclear yellow golden body with a fast disappearing white head. Aroma is fruity with hint of lemon, minerals and yogurt. Flavor is like a pretty standard BW that's rather dry/sour and with more minerals/salt than expected, almost closer to a Gose actually. Medium to light bodied with a decent but salty acidic aftertaste. Nice and refreshing but feels a bit anonymous or might just have lost some of the claimed hop flavor. nathanvc (894) - Brugge, BELGIUM - FEB 17, 2018
Can from Dranken Geers, Oostakker.einherjar (532) - Rijeka, CROATIA - FEB 16, 2018
Pours hazy pale yellow with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma contains lemon, orange peel, grapefruit, yoghurt & lactic acid, yeast, sourdough, lemongrass - all in all somewhat soapy and perfumey. It tastes light fruity sweet and medium to heavy lactic sour; light hoppy and 'tonic-like' bitter into the tart, bready/wheaty finish. Medium body, slick/watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Good take on a classic style.
Light yellow-green color, large white head. Aroma wheat, vinager. Taste wheat, vinager, pretty sour and tart, with light bitterness. Well balanced. Psytron (2628) - Turku, FINLAND - FEB 10, 2018
No smell. Pale lemon colour, high white head. Aroma of raw berries, lemon. Sour. Lively carbon. Well balanced.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2018 Veldig god berlinerweisse. Burde kommet i 0,5 bokser. Får åpne to neste gang.

Lemon sharp, with subtle malts, refreshing and balanced. Pours hazy, orangey yellow, almost no head. Aroma is clean, lemon, pineapple and a little like pear drop. Pretty good. hrabren (2047) - Zagreb, CROATIA - FEB 2, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2018 0.33 l can from Beerlovers, Vienna. Shared with Nick Carlson, Charles Porter and Sara Standsworth. Drank on the bus from a can. Juicy and lemony. Light bitterness, malty background. Medium body, moderate carbonation, light finish. Average. Diabobale (563) - ITALY - JAN 30, 2018
Color giallo limone limpido, con schiuma bianca, fine e persistente. Al naso troppo coriandolo e limone la condannano ad un aroma molto di sapone. Al palato sembra molto una limonata con una spiccata acidit citrica. Corpo watery e carbonazione media.
