Pours deep murky amber with low off-white, almost yellow, head. Beautiful to look at. Aroma of distinct bourbon barrel, toffee, butterscotch, bread, very light resin and some brown sugar. Taste is again distinct bourbon barrel, sweet fruit and sugar at first, with some creamy butterscotch as well, before a balanced bitter finish. Body is rich and creamy with nearly flat carbonation.

Strong caramel and bourbon aroma; beautiful siena appearance with creamy aroma; sweet, bourbon taste; fantastic silky palate with just a touch of fizz; overall, it's all about that sweet bourbon taste and your appreciation of the beer will be tied directly to how much you like that sweet malt flavor, though it has a palate that may be without parallel and worth trying just for that
