Clear, golden yellow with an off-white head and very good lacing.
Aroma of caramel, red wine, citrus, apricot, tropical fruit and spice.
Taste of cabernet sauvignon, caramel, tropical fruit, orange, oak and yeast.
Medium body and medium/low carbonization.

Draft at Snallygaster 2014. Poured a golden color with a foamy white head. Aroma is mostly barrel notes, red wine, with some light , but incredibly good - with a light hoppy aroma with pine, grapefruit, floral characters. Woody. Tap at Snallygaster 2014. Red wine tannins dominated the nose of this one and followed through in the taste. Bone dry. This was a really nice brew.

Tap - average size foamy head, clear medium copper color, strong red wine aroma and flavor (much more than expected), very mild IPA flavors - the wine flavors really overtake the beer flavors, would be better with a little less time in the wine barrels, needs more beer and less wine flavors

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours very hazy orange with a yellow/beige head. Aroma is rather citrus sour. And oaky. Med body or better. Flavor is fruity, bitingly woody, and a touch sour. Just not really my cup of tea. Smells super funky, tastes of wine and Belgian yeastiness. I wanted to like it, but was too funky for me.
