Bottled. Hazy golden, rich head. Blueberry pie aroma. Sweet and mkedium bodied with clean rounded mouthfeel. Like blueberry pie with vanilla custard. Low bitterness. I believe the brewmaster has succeeded in his ambitions, but I’m not sure I like where (s)he’s going. jcwattsrugger (12456) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 11, 2009
12oz bottle-pours a white head and hazy pale yellow/yellow color. Aroma is blueberry, some light malt, hint of hops. Taste is blueberry, some light malt/grain, some lemon, spice/slightly metallic hops with a bite. ClarkVV (6757) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 1, 2004
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2004 A step up from the Wachussett Blueberry. Slightly malty taste with a sweeter blueberry flavor. Light bodied, fizzy. Decent, drinkable. Still, too much concentration on the blueberry aspect. decaturstevo (6245) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - AUG 13, 2009
Slightly hazed gold pour with white head and lace. Aroma of blueberries, bread, and wheat. Lighter blueberry flavor, perfumy, with spiced hops. Medium bodied with light carbonation. thornecb (5949) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 27, 2009
Pours amber into a tumbler. Head quickly recedes to sicken surface. Mild blueberry juice aromas. Slick with blueberry upfront and a sour finish.

Bottle, from Colonial spirits. Good, nose, Blueberry, in a syrupy kinda way. Like blueberry pancakes. Lite brownish orange color, just touch of haze, noticed some sediment sitting solidly on bottom of bottle. Small foamy head that faded to a ring. Sweet bitter flavors, blueberry mainly, little lime/grapefruit, honey, Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish, blueberry and citrus sort of lingur. Good, if you like blueberry, maybe a little too syrupy for my overall preference GonZoBeeR (3061) - ste-catherine, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 12, 2006

Unlike the somewhat disappointing Pumpkin Ale by Stone Cat, which turned out to be more of a dunkel wolf in pumpkin clothing, this blueberry beer is more true to style, meaning it's a lighter ale (not a hefe) that gives off a smell and taste of berries. The berry flavor is subtle and is overshadowed by hoppiness, to some extent. The aroma is muted, as well. But all in all, it's a pleasant brew. UPDATED: JAN 11, 2004 On tap Boston Beer Summit '02: Artificial (although nice) berry aroma, watery palate, straw yellow color with no head, ends a bit bitter, although 'weak' is the one word that I would sum it up with. jimhilt (2611) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - APR 28, 2005
