Where and how: b. 500 ml @ home
Aroma resinous with mango side to it, very juicy, tad too sweet behind
Appearance : 4/5
Top: large, foamy, stiff white cap.
Base: cloudy gold
Palate : medium plus bodied, milder carbonation, longer end but not too intense
Taste: smooth, easy going rich juicy mango based vibe. Slight resin like greens on side, soft chewy mid. Easy going well made rendering of NE IPA

0,5 l bottle purchased at the brewery. Bottled yesterday. Labeled with 7% abv. Unclear golden in the glass, one finger white head. Smells tropical fruity with a lot of hop. Taste starts with a hop fruity bitterness, grape and some wheaty elements. Malty backbone. Smooth. Pine in the background. Longlasting aftertaste. Really nice.

Bottle: Pours clear dark gold with a finger of white head that settles to a film, little bit of lacing. Aroma dominated by orange citrus, with some grapefruit, dank hops, grass, and some pine. Lots of bitter taste with some smoothness rounded out from the malt. Medium body, average carbonation, oily bitter dry finish. Overall: Fairly good IPA, I just didnt enjoy it personally on this occasion - it felt astringent at times and I didnt get much of the tropical fruit advertised. Hope to come across it again.

Tap sample at C’est What. ABV 7.0% and IBU 70. Almost transparent amber with off-white head showing excellent lace. Super juicy aroma and flavour. Tropical fruits, citrus and a ton of bitterness that almost seems a bit harsh in the finish, but just. Modest carbonation, would like a tad bit more, and a juicy bitter finish. Something irritates me in terms of mouthfeel, but not as much as to lower the palate from 4 to 3. Very good stuff, overall!

Orangey citrus with a whiff of pine on the nose. Some tropical fruit with sticky sweetness. Okay.

On tap at the brewpub. 6oz sample from flight. Pours a good size frothy off-white head and has a fairly clear golden amber appearance. Lots of sticky lacing. Aromas of earthy and citrus hops. Flavours are quite hoppy, lots of citrus notes, hints of grapefruit and mangos as well. Has a little bit yeast in the finish as well as bready malts. Average carbonation and retention.

Bottle from the brewpub. Pure citra goodness in the aroma and flavour. Hops dominate the aroma; an explosion of sweet pineapple juice on the nose with loads of pine and some pithy citrus notes. Taste opens similar to the aroma with immediate pineapple sweetness. Body adds a nicely balanced bready malt with faint caramel, before giving way to a big citrusy hop finish. The bitterness lingers but the sweet, fresh pineapple and citrus makes this super-crushable for a 70 IBU product. A bit on the sticky side, but very refreshing. Fantastic IPA.

Bomber from the brewery via Scott (thanks!), served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy, almost cloudy amber with a nice light tan head. Aroma: Sweet tropical fruitiness, peaches/apricots, reasonable caramel maltiness, kinda perfumed, almost candy-like fruit. Palate: Medium+ body, fairly low carbonation, smooth. Flav.: Big tropical fruit presence, peaches/apricots, quite a fruity number, some bread crust and a fair bit of caramel; off-dry with reasonably good bitterness that lingers and a more malty than hoppy finish with a fair bit of caramel/toffee.

A blend of old-school and newer-world. Pretty good.

Great IPA! Amber colour with foamy white cap. Lots of grapefruit, pithiness and pine on the aroma. Big bitterness and it lingers with some of the hop aroma too. Good viscosity in the mouthfeel to carry the weight of the beer.

Pale golden with a thick white head. Intensely fruity, tropical aromatic IPA. Kiwi and melon with a little bit of lemon citrus. There’s orange and lime on the finish. Dry and zesty flavour. Damn - this is awesome.
