You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers- especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs- we’ve taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We’ve not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you’re getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn’t randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the bottle, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and beer fans. Instead, we’ve sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.

ChadPolenz (1842) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - JUL 4, 2017
DOC: 5/29/2017

2015 BJCP Category: 22A Double IPA

AROMA: Prominent hop aroma of American/New World varietals. Citrus, stone fruit, white grape all seem to be aromatics. Clean, bright nose overall. Malt base is nondescript. No alcohol presence. 10/12

APPEARANCE: Flame orange hue; very hazy. Moderate off-white foam. 3/3

FLAVOR: Orange citrus throughout with a sherbet or sweet orange peel taste on the first half. Strong bitterness throughout, but becomes a dry bitterness at the peak, followed by more fruity flavors (tropical, white grape) on the finish. Alcohol taste and warmth is a significant part of the palette, but not hot. Slight astringency between the hops and alcohol. Malt base creates for enough sweetness for balance, but has no significant character. 15/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-full body; medium carbonation. Smooth texture; no challenge to drink at 9.4% ABV. Slight alcohol warmth is tolerable. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Yet another very good DIPA from Stone, but it’s been done. 8/10

on draught. Pours a clear orange amber, with a moderate white head that persists and leaves good lacing. Nose is citrus and hops. Taste is similar, with enough malt backbone to balance the hoppy finish. Nice.

Bricktop86 (863) - Moore, Oklahoma, USA - JUN 24, 2017
Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus, resin, and tropical fruit. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of fresh hops, grass, and exotic fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of fresh hops, grass, and exotic fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Typical lcbo.... The name of the beer is enjoy by July 4, 2016, and it’s new on the shelves June of 2017. Good job! What a joke. Pours a Cloudy orange pour, with a Gigantic white head. Aroma is tart, fruity, tropical fruit, hints of mango, and stone fruit with some candied citrus peel. Soft mouth feel, light carb. Finish is lightly bitter, and lightly tart with a soft tropical fruit to round it out.. Not. Bad, would love to have tried it fresh.

mrol (340) - - JUN 17, 2017
Pours gold with a white creamy foam. Aroma is fresh citrusy hops. Nice hops with a bit of sweetness in the middle. Juicy hoppiness.

Bacchus66 (746) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 30, 2017
650ml bottle. Pours golden amber with a rich, almost-white, two fingers of head. Good lacing. Aromas of grapefruit and pine trees with a solid dose of earth. Flavors are tart grapefruit, limes, pineapple and a touch of caramel sweetness. Super long bitter finish. Great IPA.

beer_rookie (610) - Arkansas, USA - MAY 14, 2017
Pours a clear light golden color. About two fingers ivory head. Good retention, good lacing.

Aroma is tangerine, apricot, mango. Whoo, aroma burns my eyes. Hop resin.

Taste is kinda bitter. Some malt. Plenty of tropical fruit. Citrus, and pine. Hop resin. No alcohol taste.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. No alcohol. Smooth, but resinous.

Overall, it’s very good. Not as dank as what I expected. I would buy it again, and I would recommend it.

jesperhammer (4824) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2017
20-APR-2017, as enjoy by 04.20.2017, @Stone Berlin, with Ulkløbben on the "Then We Take Berlin Tour". Almost clear golden with a White, lasting, lacing head. Slight kerosene, fruit, alcohol. Sweet, full body West Coast style IIPA. Very nice.
