I’ve nearly finished the bomber. I had it on draft during the summer at the Stone location at Liberty Station in San Diego the night of the party tapping. This stuff is delicious. I’m too soused to go into detail but if you like imperial stouts, this one is the bomb. Really tasty. AmEricanbrew (7011) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JAN 3, 2014
Bottle. Clear dark brown color with tan sheen. Rye bread, toasted nuts, dark roast malt, wood barrel aromas. Rich, smooth mouthfeel. Big multigrain bread, rye, wheat, nutty flavors with some burnt malt___good BeerFunGuy (874) - California, USA - DEC 31, 2013
maple syrup aroma. One of the best smelling beers ever. Strong alcohol flavor but a beautiful appearance.

A very unique beer, a little bit more alcoholic then it needs to be though. Pours a ridiculously thick black with a tan head. Smells amazing, with vanilla, cinnamon, herbs and some pecans. Taste however, is too much booze, overwhelms everything else. Some vanilla, but then the alcohol comes in and can't taste much past that. Had in the bottle.

22oz bottle. Almost black with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate, rye, alcohol. caramel and vanilla. Flavor is sweet chocolate and caramel, sugary malt, rye spice and alcohol/vanilla. Full body with a thick mouth feel. Ok beer but pretty sweet and not very drinkable.

Draft @ Sunset Grill and Tap, Alston, MA. 10 oz. snifter shows thick tan head with great retention. Aroma of Light oak barrel, praline and rich chocolate. Flavor is sweet chocolate up front with barrel notes and bitter chocolate through the middle. Hints of vanilla and char in the finish. ABV can still be detected in the finish with a nice warming feel as you swallow. The body is heavy/ full with a dry roasted texture. I was missing the pecan in the flavor yet, for a 13 % stout it still was real easy to sip.

From a growler, flat carbonation, slick oily mouthfeel. I don’t get much of the bourbon (blended so I guess that makes sense), also don’t pick up on the pecans. Overall impression is this is pretty good stout, but nothing mindblowing or life changing. Glad I got to drink it, there is a nice smoothness to it, it comes together really well. At 13% one might expect a bit more bang to this beer. It is instead quite mellow and while that is certainly not a bad thing, the taste is a bit muddled. A long-lasting aftertaste warms. Good stuff. JStax (7175) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - DEC 21, 2013
22 ounce bottle shared and poured into a brandy snifter. Lours a thick, viscous black with a khaki colored head of foam. Aroma is big roasty, ashy, nutty, and caramelly. Tastes pretty sweet and roasty.thick mouthfeel. Kinda like motor oil thick. Lower carbonation. Really nice overall. Strykzone (7659) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - DEC 18, 2013
Sampled at esbls. A rich and black pour. No foam. This is really sweet. All kinds of grains. Only a littlevroasted notes. Soft hops might be noble with citrus. No carbonation.
