From the most unlikely yet intensely imaginative trio that is actor and uber-geek champion Wil Wheaton, alternative news website Fark.com creator Drew Curtis and Stone CEO/Co-founder Greg Koch, comes an imperial stout unlike any ever made. Brewed with rye, wheat malt and pecans and partially aged in Bourbon whiskey barrels, this viscous yet silken brew erupts with an oaky, nutty bouquet and rich flavors of vanilla, toast and bitter chocolate. Enjoy now or cellar this celebration of nth degree passion and geekery applied most gracefully to the craft of brewing and collaboration-Drew Curtis/Wil Wheaton/Greg Koch Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout!

UPDATED: APR 18, 2014 What a stupid name for a beer. Interesting flavor profile with a sort of carnival roasted pecan thing going on but also a good load of rye spiciness. The big problem is that this beer doesnt hide its alcohol content well, the nose is really boozy (like sniffing liquor) and the taste also has that same problem. Cool enough beer to share, but my god do I regret opening this alone.

Black color with mocha head. Aroma has sticky malt and caramel with some raspberry syrup on top. Taste has also nice chocolate cake flavors, some bourbon, bitter dark chocolate on the finish. Heavy body, lower carbonation, just right for the style. Overall its a really well balanced and easy to drink imperial stout with a very well hidden ABV.

241116. Now this is an imperial stout. I had this beer on tap at Brewski and the first mouthful almost takes your breath away. Big, black and bitter just the way that it should be. Thick in the mouth with bitter sweet and burnt flavours attacking your taste buds from every side. Deep space black in colour with a finish that doesnt seem to end. Do not mess with this beer as you will come off second best.

2016 bottle. Shared @ Lingua tasting, thanks to the man from the dark side. Pours near black with a low tan head. A nice rich aroma that really opens up after some minutes, roast, anise, leather, a booze note bringing dark cherry. The flavour is similar, decadently rich malt, cocoa, anise, but in check and melded nicely. Has a smooth syrupy warmth. I loved the 2015 and had it side by side with this. Very different beasts and I think this 2016 won me over.
