COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A fermenting beer never slumbers. Consequently, there is always scattered activity tending our precious beers throughout the dark hours. In these late nights and wee hours that hallowed responsibility falls to the shoulders of the overnight Brew Crew. These brewing soloists brave the long nights, often alone, to do what needs to be done. Most areas of the brewery are dark or in shadows. Throughout the night the cellars resonate with the occasional knocking of expanding and contracting pipes. It can be a bit spooky to hear the brewery creak and groan as if possessed by a spirit randomly knocking about with a mallet. This IPA, liberally hopped with Loral, honors our intrepid overnight team by naming it after their mischievous poltergeist companion – the Ghost Hammer.

can, rated in June 2017 - Copper pour. Citrus and pine hop led aroma. The flavor is crisp and bitter with juicy, citrus hop notes. Light malt. Light to medium body and a little alcohol noticeable. Very good.

October 2017 - Can shared in Hackney. Big thanks to Fergus. As 'Stone Ghost Hammer IPA', 6.7%. Hazy orange, still, foamy off-white head leaves light lacing. Aroma is airy, woody, bubblegum. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is watery, sugary, soapy and metallic. Quite odd! Just OK. (5-4-5-4-13=3.1)

Growler from Sense of Taste. Strange IPA whose flavour is full but aroma is muted. There is a faint hint of tangerine and melon on the nose but the palate packs a punch! Mango, passionfruit, grapefruit and herbs all feature on the palate but are largely missing from the nose. I don’t know how they do it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden with little white head. Aroma is pine cone, wheat, a bit lychee, orange, maple syrup. Taste is sweet juicy fruit with a nice bitter hoppy grassy counterpoint. Drinkable. Some grassy rough hops in the finish. Quite some pine cone in the finish again.

Can. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is super piney, toasted malts, lychee, pancakes, even a touch maple, surprisingly. Taste is piney, toasted malts, grapefruits, pancakes, super resinous finish. Slightly warming. Dares to be Old School, but a bit too sweet.
