3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Had this one a couple of times but finally getting around to reviewing one of the last bottles left in my fridge... Picked this up at the COOP a couple weeks ago.. Pours a crystal clear golden with a short lived white head.
Nose is huge hop-forward tropical fruits with plenty of pithy citrus zest for so little malt backbone.. almost too much, but I really like it nonetheless.
This tastes like my idea of summertime brews! Very hoppy and still balanced.. bitterness melts back fast into the pithy hops with just enough melon and finishes back bitter with a dry pale maltiness...
Light body... nice bubble... incredibly drinkable especially for Stone..
Canned 330ml. -Yellow/golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, mild citrusy nose. Moderate malty, citrusy hoppy, touch of fruits and hint of grapefruit with rather strong bitter finish and aftertaste. Nice one. 4.7%ABV Zlotta (3285) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JUL 23, 2017
0.33 l can from ’Spritterei’ at 4.7% abv, brewed by Stone Berlin, best before December 2017. Minimally hazy, yellow with a large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, very fruity, quite grassy and slightly floral aroma of lemon, pineapple and grapefruit. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, intensely fruity, grassy and a bit floral taste of lemon, pineapple, lemongrass and grapefruit, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, grassy and a bit herbal finish. Almost medium-bodied, moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Thirst-quenching and refreshing, quite good! cwill (93) - Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 21, 2017
Golden pour that appears a bit hazy in the glass. Aromas of hops and mango. Resinous, bitter hoppy taste with a bit of orange peel and a bitter dry finish. Medium to light body with amble carbonation. Very nice hop forward brew at 4.8%. vastervikman (41) - Vastervik, SWEDEN - JUL 21, 2017
USA notes. A can.Pale amber. Citrus, grape and pine. Dryish taste, followed by a full hoppy flavour. Finishes quite bitter. Medium body, and a watery mouthfeel. Overall, a good session IPA. More hoppy and bitter than others I have tried. The lack of malty flavours makes it a bit one-dimensional, but it is very refreshing. Michael27 (1986) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUL 20, 2017

Pale gold, slightly hazy with a thick, persistent white head. Orange/pine, big passionfruit and citrus aromas. Taste is bitter, lots of citrus, caramel, tiny bit of sweetness, mild bitter finish. Pretty good Acaro (235) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUL 18, 2017
Aroma: Grapefruit and herbs.
Appearance: Gold color with hazy sparkling liquid and rocky white head.
Taste: Heavy bitterness.
Palate: Medium body with thin texture and soft carbonation. Long bitter memory.
Overall: Less sour than other beers of the kind. Leaves a long memory. Very bitter and pleasant but it lacks a heavier sourness. sebsky (88) - ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2017

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2017 Can (Berlin) from a Prisma in Finland. Pours almost clear golden with a big head. Aroma is rich tropical fruit, mango, litchi, passion fruit. Body is light, very bitter, with a thin backbone, almost no sweetness. Rather soft texture and carbonation, with very little flavours remaining. Dry palate with a lasting bitterness. Really impressive nose, but afterwards too bitter that I would consider this my go to IPA. BeardedAvenger (795) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2017
Can from Asda, Farnborough. Floral and herbal aroma. Light gold. Thick bubbly head. Medium bitter. Lurking umami. Juicy citrus, but restrained. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft but light carbonation. Abrupt finish. Super drinkable. Doesn’t overdo things. Could certainly session a few of these.
