By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

On tap, clear amber-copper. This one is quite bitter. Not very floral, but the citrus taste is there. The crispness really carries it.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2018 Pours a golden amber with a white head from the tap. Citrus and pine aroma. Crisp and very hoppy with a lingering bitter aftertaste.

Berlin can. Aromas of malt, hay and subtle grapefruit. Taste is quite bitter with some malty sweet and metallic notes. High carbonation and medium-full body. Long lasting bitter aftertaste. I believe one of the reasons Stone Brewing went to brew in Berlin was to prove a point that Americans can make good or even better beer than the Germans. They failed to do so with this one.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2018 Flagship of Stone brewery. All beer I tasted in Berlin, and they are actually brewed in Berlin. This one is very good, fruit aromas, grapefruit, balanced beer.

I am quite surprised I haven't tasted this one before. Especially when I see this towering high grade it has on this site! And I quite disagree. Usually I can follow voting here really well. But this is an unremarkable IPA, heavy on the bitter side and not very flowery or even hoppy. Maybe it is because it is now also brewed in Germany and it doesn't taste as its US counterpart, but that would be a disgrace really. Don't fancy this one much.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2017 Can. Great aroma but otherwise lacks balance. Astringent bitterness dominates the taste, overcarbonation makes it even worse. Decent but disappointing.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2017 Puszka 0,33l kupiona w Carefour.

Kolejne przereklamowane top50.

A classic in the style, Stone Westcoast IPA boasts a great balance of citrus and tropical fruits, pine and bitterness.
