By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

22oz bomber. Clear golden to orange color with white head. Aroma is mostly pine hops and a hint of sweet malts. Nice hop heavy pine flavor with a slight under current of malty sweetness. Good lacing to the finish where a lingering pine hoppiness awaits the imbiber.

Bottled, sampled with Stegosaurus. As soon as you crack this gem open an aroma of strong hops and pine fill the air. Golden pour with thick head and strong lacing. Flavor was citrus and floral hop. (LOTS OF HOP) This was blended good and quite enjoyable.

Bottle sampled with The Mad Indian at his house. Pours golden\copper with a decent size off-white head. Aroma of pine and citrusy hops. The flavor is slightly sweet, citrus, and moderate bitterness. The alcohol is masked very well, good balanced brew. Good body, great brew.

This is simply a great IPA. Wonderful hoppy nose. Pours a fantastic golden color. Flavor is rich with hop complexity, but is not overly bitter. Now that I can get these in sixers, I can die a happy man. Cheers!

Sparkling golden with a brilliant white, creamy head, good size, longevity and lacing. If you like hops you will love the nose, fresh pine and resin with subtle citrus. Flavor is much the same, fresh pine and grassiness from the hops with still the subtle grapefruit citrus hops. A SUBTLE toasty, caramel sweetness but nicely done so. Bitterness is medium-high but never harsh and complements the hop flavors brilliantly. Palate is medium in body with a soft to lively carbonation and a creamy yet refreshing feel. Finish is long, refreshing, and bitter, but still sweet with grapefruit. Truly a remarkable IPA, and this coming from a non-hophead. Flavors meld so well together and remain so ultimately fresh. Stone delivers once again.

My uncle purchased this and he knows nothing about beer. What luck! This beer is hoppy, but smooth. Beautiful color. It is just asking you to drink it. Kind of bitter, but not too bitter. I finished the first beer then looked at the bottle... 6.9 percent alcohol. You could not even taste it. It was just that subtle. Had three more and the beer just got more enjoyable with each consecutive bottle. As far as IPAs go, they do not get much better.

Had a nice light orange color and great aroma of citrus and pine. Can definitely sense the hops in this one. My only issue with it was that the finish was a bit too long and bitter for me. Certainly a good brew though.

excellent ipa...light orange, almost amber body...nice, welcoming floral hop aroma that is light in pine, and finishes light in sugary malts...flavor of a light ipa, strongest in piney hops and a touch of sugar...nice palate leads to a crisp, refreshing finish...
