By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Bottle. Pours a deep gold color with a smallish white head. Aroma of fresh hops. Taste is very hoppy with a strong pine presence. Very fresh taste. Slighter thick palate. The flavor of pine lingers for a long time. A pretty good beer and a great example of an IPA.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber-orange color with a large off white head. Aroma is huge floral hops, grapefruit, orange, pine. Flavor is much the same hops, grapefruit, hints of orange, pine, apple. Palate is a crisp and medium bodied, lasting bitter finish. Beautiful is an understatement.

Bomber courtesy of secret santa! Pours a cloudy orange, with a finger of off white head. grapefruits, orange, piney, hoppy smell, could sit and smell this one without even drinkin it, but thatd be stupid. Tastes very similar to the smell, strong orange after taste, and the almost 7% ABV is just not there. Very well balanced and Delish, yet another winner from stone.

Amazing IPA! Perfect amount of Hops (a lot), and a great combination of citrus/floral/etc. Perfect amount of bitterness. By far, this IPA along with their Ruination IPA are my favorites. Buy one and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.

pours clear and light amber. Average rocky white head. Aroma; nothing other than cascade hops. Grapefruit and pine. I smell no malt or yeast. Flavor is lightly sweet and heavily bitter again the grapefruit dominates. Finish is long, infact I can still feel/taset it hours later. Light to medium bodied creamy and softly carbonated. Every time I drink a stone beer I wake up with a massive headache. Dont knowif thats normal of not. If you like sour grapefruit then you love this stuff.

Clear bright amber, with a small offwhite head that dissipates before long. Big blast of hop aroma - green herbs with sweet spice. A little fruit is there in the background too. On the palate, the hops hit right away, with pine, herbs, and grass. Carbonation is a little coarse, but mouthfeel is rich. Malt contributes body but not overt sweetness...I like that quality a lot. Delivers most of the character of the Ruination IPA for a lower price point. In fact, I prefer the balance of this brew to the Ruination. A must for fans of grassy hops.

Bottle - November 2006. Pour a deep, clear, golden color wit a rather small creamy white head. Aroma is of grapefruit, citric, resinous, pungen, hoppy and very nice. Taste is piney, grapefruit, tangerines, herbal hoppy but with some malt balancing. Mouthfeel is medium, creamy. Nice aftertaste.

Bottle. Golden pour with nice creamy head that lasts and provides good lacing. Strong citrusy hop aroma. Flavor is very similar to Arrogant Bastard, complex hop profile. Smooth, good aftertaste. Perhaps my favorite IPA.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2007 Golden straw color with nice white head. The aroma is of light malts and big grapefruit citrus, little grassy hops. Light mouth feel. Not too much malt character but it is made up for by the complex hop finish.
