By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

This is by far the best IPA I’ve tried. The hop flavor is big and bold. The scent alone keeps me sippin’ it! I’m not a huge IPA fan, but I will buy this beer again.

Poured from a fuckin bottle into a goddam tulip glass. Pours a hazy gold with more than a cunt hair of head. Tons of fuckin pine and citrus in the nose. Actually, it smells faintly fuckin resinous, almost like good "kind bud". This IPA has a delicious blend of hops with some really fuckin good citrus undertones. Good mothefucking lacing too. Malts seem to have "got the fuck out of town" on this brew. Perfect carbonation makes this very refreshing, and the finish is fuckin long, smooth, and almost hot. Not a trace of an undesirable bitter aftertaste...But fuck all these descriptive adjectives...It is almost fuckin perfect. FUCK YEAH!

Out of 12 oz. bottle in pint glass. Nice deep yellow color. Nice hop flavor, very bitter. Semi-long finish.

I started drinking beer about 15 years ago, considered by many to be the most influential years in micro/craft brewing. Over the years I have enjoyed many a brew, but have discovered my true passion to be with IPA’s. Among the myriad of india pale ales sampled along the way, Stone IPA is Numero Uno. Bar none. Go to your local grocer and invest in a sixer. Thanks for your time, and ERNEST ANASTASIO FOR PRESIDENT IN 2008!

On tap @ coles Buffalo NY. Along with Racer 5 my favorite IPA. Great color with thick beautiful head. Huge hop flavor & aroma with citrus presence. Great IPA

pours amber with an ungodly beautiful head that’s thick and foamy, revealing a thin film of lace. on the nose, i get hella hops and bitter orange and maybe some mango too; split the difference and call it tangerine. the taste is smooth and complex; a lot of pine and spruce, followed by a grassy finish. also, offensive bitter finish...i love it! this beer covers the spectrum of the palate. so much could be said about this beer, and i’m sure many have said it before me. this is a damn good beer!!!

Bottle. Pours a deep gold color with a smallish white head. Aroma of fresh hops. Taste is very hoppy with a strong pine presence. Very fresh taste. Slighter thick palate. The flavor of pine lingers for a long time. A pretty good beer and a great example of an IPA.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber-orange color with a large off white head. Aroma is huge floral hops, grapefruit, orange, pine. Flavor is much the same hops, grapefruit, hints of orange, pine, apple. Palate is a crisp and medium bodied, lasting bitter finish. Beautiful is an understatement.

Bomber courtesy of secret santa! Pours a cloudy orange, with a finger of off white head. grapefruits, orange, piney, hoppy smell, could sit and smell this one without even drinkin it, but that’d be stupid. Tastes very similar to the smell, strong orange after taste, and the almost 7% ABV is just not there. Very well balanced and Delish, yet another winner from stone.

great hops, fruity, smooth, sumptuous aroma. as near perfect a representation as i can conceive of what is becoming one of my favorite styles (IPA)
