By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Hazy golden color. Very nice and fruity aroma: hop, malt, oranges, fudge, pink grapefruit. Quite dry texture, thin body, the malt shows better a bit later, and of course very hoppy (and well fruity). Very good.

Growler. Super-solid IPA. Pours a nice, light orange-gold with a fine white head. Heavy aroma of bitter hops, noting pine and citrus. Flavor is a hop roller coaster: exciting and exhilarating. (None of the experience made me want to hurl, mind you.) Very mild hints of malt. Alcohol is almost undetectable. Bitter, crisp, lip-smacking finish with lingering hops on the tongue. Really, really good.

Absolut harmonisches IPA 11/13/12/13/11/13

The last of the 1,000+ ratings Stone beers Ive had many times before but never rated ! Keg at Stone Brewing San Diego Airport, 22/04/14. Clear light golden with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is bitter citrics, juicy hops, bitter orange, grass, grapefruit. Taste is more agressive than the aroma suggests, bitter hops, grapefrit, light pine, toasted bread, orange pith, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressve hop bitterness in the close. Well balanced easy drinking IPA.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Its just grapefruit juice. Gold with slight haze, bubbly off white head. Lots and lots of grapefruit. Fine in mouth. I was really looking forward to this and its still a little lacking in the mouth like the pale ale. Great, great hop though and decent balance.

Bottle from AlesByMail.co.uk. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, pine, fruits and malt. Very bitter and long bitter finish. Nice!
