Aroma is citrusy, nice and hoppy. Flavor is citrusy and hop flavor does stick with you like its brother ruination but for a normal IPA it is nice. GoddamnNoise (141) - Pontevedra, SPAIN - JUN 17, 2017
33 cl. can @ Home. Brewed in Berlin.
Aroma: not very intense aromas of grapefruit, grapes, passion fruit, citrus, tropical fruits. Subtle hints of pine, resin. Some malt background appeared as the beer was warming.
Appearance: light amber to golden color, light hazyness, high head thickness. Super creamy slightly off-white head made of mid sized to big sized bubbles. High retention. Very low Brussels’ lacing, almost non-existent.
Taste: low sweetness, medium to high bitterness, no sourness. Flavors of grapefruit, citrus, passion fruit. Tastes slightly sweet at first, but increasingly bitter towards the end.
Palate: light to medium body, oily texture, low to medium carbonation, very long and very dry bitter finish of grapefruit, resin, pine, citrus, tropical fruits, passion fruit.
Overall: very good appearance. Not very intense but good aromas and flavors of grapefruit, resin, pine, citrus. Quite refreshing and thirst quenching. Good IPA but not as good as i’d heard, maybe this one brewed in Berlin is not as good as the American one. ENTROPY (141) - Terra Bella, California, USA - OCT 20, 2002
I got to drink this at LAX while me and my bros eat a pizza, anyway I give this brew an: A Ubiquibeer (140) - Cleveland, USA - AUG 23, 2003
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2003 Pours golden with a small head and medium carbonation. Floral, citrisy, grapefruit aroma. Taste pine, grapefruit, woodsy. This IPA doesn't have the malt kick to balance the hops like dreadnaught or dfh 90, but it is balanced by other flavors and its subtle malt end quite nicely. An excellent IPA right up there in the same league as 3 floyds and dogfish head. RERATE 08/31/03--One last comment about this beer. I bought a sixer of it, and I have been noticing a unique balancing act this beer does. After every sip, the hopiness is overwhelming, and stays completely unbalanced until the very very end. Then, a small spike of maltiness hits just as the flavors have all finished. Every sip, every time. This is an outstanding beer. I am upping the flavor and overall by one point anaheim1983 (140) - Anaheim, California, USA - JAN 6, 2006
Deep amber color. Small off-white head mostly diminishing. Aroma is strong hoppy aroma . I love an IPA. In this case this is one of the better varieties of an IPA. Strong hoppy, bitter taste but with substantial malt backbone. Full bodied. Love the palate

Not a huge fan of IPA’s, but I tried to rate this in it’s catagory. One of the best IPA’s i’ve had. It has a semi-light copper color. Nice foamy head. Taste is very complex. Hoppy start, nice tingle bitter taste, then finishes with a nice dry hop. Stone Rocks IPAGargoyleGuy (140) - Troy, NY, New York, USA - JAN 18, 2007
I absolutely love this beer. I find it to be the best beer that can be bought in a six pack. It is incredibly refreshing and has plenty of hops. BelvidereIPA (140) - Belvidere, Illinois, USA - JUL 20, 2011
Bottle to a pint glass. Pours a rich golden color, with evident carbonation. Rich, thick head that sustains through the glass. Absolutely smooth, with a clean hoppy taste. Rich even finish. As good of an IPA as you’ll find. iceman15658 (139) - Acme, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 6, 2009
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2009 From bottle to pint glass. pungent hoppy aroma. Nice golden appearance. Hints of grapefruit. A solid IPA Brew4Dug (139) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 2, 2004
Hoppy as any exmaple that is available on the market today. The overall strength of hops somewhat takes over the the other subtle flavors that show as it crosses the palate. Overall it is a definite "must try" for any fan of the style, but unbalanced overall.
