By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

friendly little brother of ruination. less character but still a great ipa. hoppy and bitter. perhaps a bit less intense than other stone brews

Simply the best "every day" IPA there is. Solid across the board.

pours out clear gold with a 2 finger thick off white head that was frothy and some what lumpy. the body is a very clear gold with very few bubbles rising from the center of the glass. the aromas are nice with a lot of hops and pine in the nose, very balanced smell with some sweet fruit undertones. it is medium bodied and pretty bitter but also has a balanced sweet undertone on the tongue with bitterness in the back of the palate. i taste pine, lemon, fresh aromatic hops, and plenty of fresh bittering hops. finishes crisp and clean with a potent aftertaste that lingers on the palate for some time to come.

Poured light amber, nose is all floral hops, very pleasant aroma. Flavor was more floral hops, the malts I thought were nicely blended. Very nice IPA. Will definitely have this again.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2005 Fantastic! Very light orange color, slightly cloudy. Hoppy scent and flavor, but not as strong as the Ruination IPA from Stone-try that one too. Great lacing all the way down. Head reduces but never disappears. Enters mouth discreetly and flavor builds as it travels to your belly. You can’t go wrong with this beer. Also, its great with smoky barbequed meats.

Bottle. Pours golden clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, citrus and fruit. Taste is the same aroma with grapefruit juice, citrus, bitter hops and pine. Medium bodied with good carbonation and balance. Prefer imperial IPA’s but this is a good brew.

A definite classic. Such a great balance from start to finish. Sometimes I find myself taking out for granted until I have another. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brewtopia ’05. Poured a deep orange yellow with a medium grapefruit aroma. Taste was strong grapefuit but not bitter in the aftertaste. Some sweetness coming through as well. Slight burn on the tongue at the end but well balanced with strong hops without much tartness.
