22oz. $3.49 from Bashas. Now this is an IPA! The Aroma knocks you down as soon as you pop the top. For the homebrewers here it like sticking your nose into a freshly opened bad of hops! Pour was a light golden color and the head was intense....too intense. Stong bitter hop flavor that did not dissapoint! troysworktable (109) - Washington, USA - JUL 23, 2007
22 ounce bottle. Damn, this is a great beer!
The pour delivered a glass of golden-yellow ale tinged with orange. A thick, foamy white head developed and stayed around. The lacing was very good.
The aroma was rather complex. Primary aroma: fruity, citrusy. Secondary aromas: caramel, cherries, hint of cloves, hint of caraway seed.
The taste just about knocked me out. There is a very bitter "kick" when the ale first meets tongue. The hoppy bitterness continues and finishes with another "kick" at the end. Primary flavor: grapefruit/orange citrus, that is well balanced between the two. Secondary flavors: caramel, slight lemon, slight floral.
I will definitely be having a few more bottles of this in the near future. mbrandon2w (109) - Worcester, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 17, 2007
22 oz. great hop aroma right from the start. crisp, fresh hop flavor, very citrusy/orange and somewhat sweet. slightly sticky mouthfeel, but smooth overall. One i could drink frequently. lowgun1212 (109) - Carlstadt, New Jersey, USA - APR 13, 2008
honey gold color. thin head. nose isnt huge but pretty. flowers and vanilla. flavor is big but balanced. definitely a hoppy ipa but not obnoxious. grapefruit, blood orange, and vanilla is still there. mouth is crisp and light. dry finish whets the palate for more. Fresh hop aroma of mild pine, grapefruit and other florals with caramel malt in the background.
Beautiful apple juice color with a copper hue and sediment particles are suspended. Lots of action with an off white head.
Resin flavor of well balanced mild pine and fresh grapefruit with some sweet tea and caramel flavor in the background.
Medium bodied, resinous, crisp carbonation, and has an alcohol warming throughout.
A session IPA for hopheads very tasty and well balanced overall.

pours golden/amber yellow. nice white head that lasts. medium hoppy nose and pleasant complex floral aroma. this is very well balanced beer. there are so many IPAs out there that aren’t hopped appropriately. kansascityCW (109) - kansas city, Missouri, USA - MAY 1, 2014
Clear amber color with a thick white head. The aroma is pine and citrus with some malt in the background. Taste is right in line with the aroma. Nice mouth feel. Overall this is a great example of a west coast IPA. Hop forward for sure, but with enough malt to prevent it from being too imbalanced. Coltrane (108) - South Carolina, USA - APR 3, 2009
Fantastic, especially if fresh. Piney and resiny in the aroma and taste. The ultimate in available west coast IPAs. sja14 (108) - Ohio, USA - JUN 18, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 20, 2008 Pours golden with decent head. Hop presence which is well-balanced by malt. Nice lingering finish really rounds out the bitterness. Not as bitter as I thought it would be but definitely one of my favorite IPAs. westknife (108) - New York City, New York, USA - APR 8, 2008
Solid IPA, not too overhopped, strong malt base to complement the bitter hops, you know the deal
