3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice floral aroma, with pine. Pours a deep golden color with light white head that lasts for days. The taste is very bitter not overly complex a little bit of sweetness on the end to balance it out. Grapefruit is the dominant note but also piney. Medium bodied, sticky mouthfeel and very soft carbonation. Overall it is really good but doesn’t give the complexity that can be found in a lot of IPAs these days to make it stand out of the crowd other than the Stone name.
Puszka 0,33 l. Wypita 15.01.2018. Piwo uwarzone w Berlinie.
Berlin brewed can. Medium white head with good retention. Hazy gold body. Grapefruit, pine resin, alcohol, biscuity malt, herbs, green grass, honey, citrus, raw cookie dough, fruit, B vitamins, iron. Taste is bitter, tangy, tannic and some slight umami. Dusty dry finish. Good. Wolin1991 (82) - Ruda Slaska, POLAND - JAN 14, 2018

On tap, clear amber-copper. This one is quite bitter. Not very floral, but the citrus taste is there. The crispness really carries it. mulbila (6) - - JAN 8, 2018 does not count
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2018 Pours a golden amber with a white head from the tap. Citrus and pine aroma. Crisp and very hoppy with a lingering bitter aftertaste. panda_brewmaster (124) - Bournemouth, Dorset, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2018
Berlin can. Aromas of malt, hay and subtle grapefruit. Taste is quite bitter with some malty sweet and metallic notes. High carbonation and medium-full body. Long lasting bitter aftertaste. I believe one of the reasons Stone Brewing went to brew in Berlin was to prove a point that Americans can make good or even better beer than the Germans. They failed to do so with this one. hpastar (9) - - JAN 6, 2018 does not count
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2018 Flagship of Stone brewery. All beer I tasted in Berlin, and they are actually brewed in Berlin. This one is very good, fruit aromas, grapefruit, balanced beer.
