By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Ovanpå den orange ölen vilar ett livligt skum och dofterna från glaset är rent sköna av apelsin, rosenvatten och örter. De beska smakerna i munnen finns kvar länge, och där finns apelsinskal och knäckebröd. Riktigt god.

Poured with a chill haze.....it also had some bits floating about, perhaps conditioning yeast which had become unattatched. The smell was pure brewery, it had a true malty aroma with heavy hops presence. A heavy mouthfeel which sat on the tongue and a taste complementing the aroma with high malt and a thick but subdued hops taste which is in full balance. Excellent, but for the chill haze.

Its like grapefruit, except its beer. I remember years ago, when I couldn’t stand IPAs, and this was horribly bitter. Interestingly, now I taste mostly grapefruit (and less of the grapefruit-pine blend I tend to like most in IPAs now). This actually tastes more oaky than piney. And, needless to say, I now like it. Thank you for corrupting me, Holy and Jerry (not related to any Jerry who rates beer on here).

Poured from 12 oz, blind tasted with FW Union Jack.. Golden color,, a bit hazy, medium off white head. Nose was malty, with floral overtones, taste was bitter, with just a hint of sweetness. Medium bodied with an oily texture. Nice overall. but UJ was a step up in my opinion.

Poured a hazy orange color with a medium-sized white head. Pine in the aroma with some spruce and lots of citrus. Body is very flavorful with lots of orange and citrus. Some pine towards the finish. Not too syrupy. Slightly sweet towards the beginning with different fruits. Overall very tasty.

Poured cleared orangey with a foamy, irresistible, off-white head. Smells of pine cones, sauerkraut, cardboard and fish oil. Tastes of hops, light candi sugar, paper, and fir tree bark. Not very much citrus detected in this one; a shame but still a pleasant experience nonetheless.

On draft. Nice yellow orange pour with a small white head. Good citrus hoppy aroma..with a lot of grapefruit in the taste, which I love. Another good IPA.

355 ml bottle bought @ The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Pours hazy bright goldenish yellow with a rather small creamy and bubbly white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is tiny sweet, tiny sour and hoppy fresh with caramel, grapefruit juice, dried apricots, pineapple juice, peaches, fresh grass, pine, lemon popsicle, gooseberries, green grapes, lemon balm, dill, orange peal and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter and hoppy with grapefruit juice, green grapes, lemon zest, fresh grass, pine, lemon balm, dill, mango, unripe pineapple, unripe peaches, orange peal and hints of caramel and bread. Mouthfeel is slightly crisp, slightly round, slightly oily bitter, tiny watery and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with fresh grass, orange peal, lemon balm, dill, grape zest and unripe tropical fruit.

On tap at taphouse westmont. Lots of bitter hops. Slightly pine and dank. Nothing else in the aroma. Very bittter for a single ipa. Lingering bitter ness. Very close to the ruination.
