By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Hops Hops Hops. Lots of aroma and well mantained flavor. Nice amber color with great lacing. You’re gonna like this one.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2007 Love the puffy lasting white head. Maltier flavor than I was expecting, still well balanced though. Drinkable and smooth. Great every day drinker for the hop head. Certainly a respectable IPA but not worthy of a 99, imo.

Oh yeah.. this is one hoppy beer. Cool and refreshing the whole time. Not much of a bite though, which I love. The aftertaste is bittersweet, rich with hops. It’s almost a perfumy taste at the very end. Very unusual, but good. Not something I would drink too much of in one sitting, a little too rich for my blood.

Bitter, bitter. Just past my bitter limit, I stress just. I knew going in that this should be expected. Good flavour and aroma. Still a very good beer. I would like to try this with different food to get a better sense of the beer.

Nice golden color with a white head. Smells lively, fruity, of citrus zest, and hops galore. Taste is obviously hoppy, also spicy and a bit of grain on the bitter finish. Nice cripsy mouthfeel. Actually I didnt like this one too much, but its a well made beer, and lovers of the style should try it.

Poured a golden color with a small off white head. The aroma was a floral one with grapefruit present. The taste was very hoppy, but well done with a grapefruit hue and a slightly bitter after taste when compared to the rest of the beer. This is a good beer, but I have had better.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2010 On tap at Portsmouth Brewery on 05/15/2010. The waitress tried to claim this was brewed there, but the tap handle told a different story. Clear golden body with a medium frothy white head. Big citrus and resiny hop aroma. Big citrus and resiny hop flavor with some pale malt in the background. Medium full body with moderate carbonation. - 7/3/7/3/15 - 3.5 11/19/2005 - A white thick head that lasts a long time. The color is a very clear and light amber color. There is a very clear hoppy aroma. The flavor is bitter but flowery at the same time. 8/3/8/3/15 - 3.7

Golden orange beer with a small off white head. Hoppy aroma with a pineapple/ citric fruityness. Sweet, light malty flavor with a citric hoppyness and a dry bitter finish. Thanx to Luke for bringing this one to Denmark.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2007 i was expecting better. probably could have been more hoppy. the flavor just seemed lacking. it seems like it would go really well with food. hides the alcohol well. i guess i had unfairly high expectations for it because it isn’t very accessible for me.
