Aroma: The nose is full of tropical fruit and resiny hops, mango present, but light
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color with a larger (for cask) sized white head
Flavor: Tastes much the same, hoppy and fruity, mango is subtle but there, with a nice bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth, enjoyable cask feel, and a dry finish
I do enjoy a good Stone IPA, and I do enjoy a good cask IPA. This one was both. I would have actually liked the mango to be a bit more present, but all-in-all, I found it enjoyable.
Cask at Pony Bar HK with Linh and ken. Pours an amber orange body with thin white lacing. Aroma is faint grapefruit. Mouthfeel is thin with notes of melon, grapefruit, citric hops and mango. Very light on the mango flavor, but my overall impression is Definitly affected by the cask conditioning. JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 22, 2012
Cask at stone. Hazy golden amber pour, white head. Grapefruit, citrusy hops, fairly bitter edge, fruit sweetness, and just light mango. Good ipa, but the mango is light.
