By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Beautiful beer. Frothy head good lacing. Citrus and grass. Almost balanced. Light fruity notes. Sticky mouth feel. Fair ipa, I wish it was fresher.

Pour hazy blond, two finger white head. Smell super big floral hops, sticky, pine needles Taste bitter floral sticky hops Mid body. Think Ruination may be easier to drink Good if you are into being punched in the face with bitter hops, well done

Bottle pour. Hazy golden with small to medium white head. Hoppy is the only way to describe this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Salmoniform (1272) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - JUN 9, 2014
Poured from tap to glass. Slightly hazy orange hue with white head. Aroma is orange, pine, citrus peel, spicy, straw. Mouthfeel is nice with medium light body and zesty carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness initially followed by a big hop bitterness that extends through the finish. Overall this is a great shelf IPA.

Bottle at Bar Liberte in Philly. Drank from the bottle. Pungent, dank aroma. Lots of citrus rind. Mouthfeel is very carbonated and slightly sticky. Taste is grapefruit rind all the way. Very bitter. Nothing subtle about this. Hops are the only thing going on with this beer. No pretext of balance, but that’s OK sometimes. Pretty decent and I’d drink again. But I wouldn’t drink often.

circinus (323) - SWEDEN - MAR 1, 2015
Bottle 33 cl. Hazy orange with a white head. Hops, caramel, distinct strong bitterness, wormwood, citrus/lemon. Medium body, medium carbonation, strong bitter finish. Lacked hops aroma to balance the bitterness, but maybe it’s a bit old?

Stone, re-do this one, not much to say, beginner level IPA, actually a perfect beginner level IPA..

Attractive golden amber with a haziness about it. Fruity and juicy tropical fruit aroma - passionfruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread. Lots of pine and grassy hops in the taste, with grapefruit, honey and biscuit. A little metallic in the aftertaste. Light to medium bodied. Pretty solid IPA.

I thought this was an okay IPA. The aroma has a little pine in it, but the taste is mostly bitter hops. There are lots of IPA’s I enjoy more.
