4.5 oz draft at City Tap House - DC, thanks to solidfunk. Poured a clear orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma is fresh green coffee beans, light green pepper notes. Exactly what its advertised as. A coffee IPA. Doesnt work, in other words. Dark amber pour with ok head. Some malt but hops eclipsed by coffee. Tap at city taphouse.

On tap at Crafty Cow in Oconomowoc. Brownish tan pour with a beige head leaving streaky lacing. Nose is big coffee grounds, with some cream. Taste is of sweet malts, coffee and cream. Also some dark fruits show through. Not to the level of the nose, and disappointingly so. Medium bodied or a touch thicker, the blend is decent and there is some alcohol presence. Finishes fairly bitter and also fairly short. The nose is nice, nothing else really meets that level. 13.5
