From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours cloudy and dark orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is dense fruity hoppy with a dry caramel malt base beneath. Very dry fruity and solid bitter flavour. Bone dry into the finish. A bit too hoppy, could use some malt to counter balance this imho.

An unclear red-brown beer with a dying head. The aroma is sweet woody combined with some spices. The flavor is dry woody with lots of berries combined with some malt sweetness.

[email protected] Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, grass, quite brutally bitter hopping. Flavour is grass, lots of nectar, some floral hops as well as some citrusfruity ntoes. Very good for being "only" 4.4% in ABV.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2010 Bottle at home from BoE ... Copper off white head ... spicy hoppy nose ... big sweet pine and grapefruit hop ...very juicy ... nicely rounded and nice to see a good mid 4% ale from the US.

CASK at BSF GBBF 2010 ... SIMCO version ... copper brown ... cheesy dull soft hop nose ... light bitter hop ... ... little woody ... fruity hop ... dry bitter hop linger 3.5

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear nut brown, firm head. Grapefruity nose. Mid sweet, light bodied with elastic rounded mouthfeel. Grapefruity and lightly nutty. Somewhat resiny bitterness. A bit too light in body to fit the typical Stone character.

4th June 2008. Light hop and malt - not bad but let down by a watery palate.
