Clear dark red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, orange. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is metalic.
From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours cloudy and dark orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is dense fruity hoppy with a dry caramel malt base beneath. Very dry fruity and solid bitter flavour. Bone dry into the finish. A bit too hoppy, could use some malt to counter balance this imho. Ungstrup (38139) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 19, 2005

Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, grass, quite brutally bitter hopping. Flavour is grass, lots of nectar, some floral hops as well as some citrusfruity ntoes. Very good for being "only" 4.4% in ABV.
Cask at Churchkey. Labeled as dry-hopped with Simcoe.
Clear copper, big-bubble edge head. Aroma of fresh hops. Flavor has caramel candy with a smoke edge. Very smooth. Bitter throughout. Nice.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear nut brown, firm head. Grapefruity nose. Mid sweet, light bodied with elastic rounded mouthfeel. Grapefruity and lightly nutty. Somewhat resiny bitterness. A bit too light in body to fit the typical Stone character. cgarvieuk (25322) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 27, 2009
