CASK at BSF GBBF 2010 ... SIMCO version ... copper brown ... cheesy dull soft hop nose ... light bitter hop ... ... little woody ... fruity hop ... dry bitter hop linger 3.5
Growler. Pours a nice, light amber-red hue with a fine, white head. Nose is hoppy with some malt undertones. Flavor is decently rich with nice character of lightly roasted malts and a kick of hops on the tail. Crisp, bittersweet finish. Quite tasty. Rasmus40 (20922) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 26, 2012

Draught at Moeder Lambic, FontainasBeerhunter111 (20490) - P´Castle, GERMANY - FEB 14, 2014
Hazy dark amber color, with big creamy head. Very nice malt and hop aroma, toffee, toasty hop resins, biscuits; later, light feety yeast. The body is weak and the mouthfeel dry, with a very nice flavor of toffee, cookies and roasted nuts. The final is bitter and long, with some hop resins; possibly the bitterness is just too high. At this low ABV, pleasant.

Draught at The White Horse, London. Amber beer, beige head. Malty nutty aroma, but also rather hoppy.Roasted malt and hop flavor. harrisoni (18579) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2009
Bottle from Utobeer. As a British ale drinker, this is really interesting and exciting. A best bitter strength beer made for quaffing, but in a suprisingly small bottle. Looks beautiful. Mahogany, lasting thick beige head. Spicy hop aroma, bit of ginger to go with the grapefruit. Yep. Just as I feared an unbalanced best bitter. You just can’t stick a load of floral and spicy hops over a beer without the malt backbone to keep it in balance. Yes the aroma is glorious, but it’s just got no middle and then sweet toffee and stinging harsh hop on finish. Where Thornbridge Lord Marples shows how to do this style of beer well, this doesn’t which is a great shame as it could be so much better. Yes the hops are fun. I mean really fun. But the rest just falls away and the finish is too metallic. saxo (18571) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2013
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, toffee, malt, hops and fruits. Probably a bit old, since hops havefaded a bit. mcberko (17854) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 20, 2010
12 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, resinous hops, pine and grapefruit. Flavour of pale malts and hops - well-balanced. Not really too special for Stone.
