3000th Rate! Well not really. Shared this about a month ago and I’m catching up on old rates right now. Bottle. Awesome aroma of coffee, bourbon, chocolate cake, and marshmallow. Tastes brings in vanilla and a little roast to balance nicely with the coffee, bourbon and chocolate. Medium to full body. So smooth. Love this. Hope they re-release this soon.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate chocolate, molasses, caramel, light coffee, and a hint of bourbon. It’s a dark brown with no transparency and a small khaki head that fades to a thin film outlined by a very fine ring. The flavor starts with moderate chocolate, lighter molasses, and faint caramel. The finish has light-moderate coffee, maple syrup, bourbon, and a touch of coconut. It’s medium-full bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat oily mouthfeel.

Bottle thanks to cocoapuph! Pours inky black, small dark brown creamy head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is rich mocha chocolate, bourbon, vanilla. Flavor follows, light plus sweet, quite bitter, mocha mocha mocha, lots of well integrated bourbon, vanilla and a touch of coconut. Medium plus body, pretty hot, which might be the only distractor.

(500ml bottle) jet black, creamy tan head with excellent lacing. Nose of light espresso that’s faded, bourbon, vanilla, milk chocolate, and a touch of dark chocolate. Taste of milk chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, roasty chocolate malt, creamy, body is nearly perfect.

I bought the beer because of the good things I had been hearing about it. When I got home and tried it I was not impressed of the $27 dollars that I paid for it. It had a kind if winey taste to it that I did not expect and it was kind of flat on the pore. Over all did not live up to expectations!!!
