Growler. Clear dark golden with a fizzy white head. Grape, grapefruit, caramel, and wine barrel aroma. Silky, bright medium bodied palate. Tastes of pear, orange, grape, grapefruit, caramel, wine, and subtle oak with a fruity, perfume like, vinous finish. Very good. Bengibbs6 (65) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - NOV 22, 2013
Draft @oak barrel. Deep straw amber color. Little to no head. Passion fruit and papaya in the nose, with some wine ethers. Big fruity, sauv-blanc headiness up front, mellowing into some softer citrus and pine

A golden ale with a glow, and a thin lacing white head. In aroma, smooth fruity malt with light spiced notes, discreet hops, nice. In mouth, very belgian malt with grassy hops, citrus notes, alcohol warmth.

Draft at brews, pours dark orange with decent off white head. Aroma is very fruity with wine notes and some citrus with a oaky undertone. Taste is very different, nice blends between the ipa flavors and wine and belgian yeast, fruity esters, vinous, lots of oak. Glad i got to try it before it disappeared. Clear orange/red pour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, vinous, and taste is similar with a white wine flavor coming through. Good brew Anova167 (379) - Manhattan Beach, California, USA - OCT 5, 2013
I really liked this beer. The barrel aging was very apparent in the aroma. The flavor was very fruity and almost tangy. I don’t think this is properly listed in the IPA’s. very little IPA character. A bit sweet almost. Nice unique beer. Itzjerm (3074) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - AUG 23, 2013
Wine barrel comes through. Probably best Belgian ipa I have had but more a wine barrel ale. Sweet good balance interesting.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a clear orange-gold with a minimal off-white head. Aroma of peach, apricot, herbs, sweet malts, and red and white wine grapes. Flavor of pale and sweet malts, oak, vanilla, grapes, and florals. Light-bodied, with modest carbonation and a bright, vinous mouthfeel that has some floral bitterness at the end. Really nice and refreshing.
